While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

Israel strikes Gaza after rocket sirens force Netanyahu off stage

Israeli aircraft struck in Gaza on Wednesday hours after rockets from the Palestinian enclave triggered sirens that forced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off the stage at an election rally in Israel.

The Israeli military said 15 targets were hit, including a weapons manufacturing facility, a naval compound used by militants and tunnels belonging to Hamas, the dominant armed force in Gaza.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Hours earlier, bodyguards rushed Netanyahu to shelter in the southern city of Ashdod (the famous Palestinian-Canaanite city, which Zionists captured by force in 1948, editor) when the sirens sounded during a Tuesday evening rally, a week ahead of a general election.

However, the spectacle of the prime minister being forced off the podium added fuel to accusations by political opponents that he has not done enough to halt the frequent cross-border rocket strikes against southern Israel.

The Israeli military said two rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Ashdod and another port city, Ashkelon, just to the south, and were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system.

It said Wednesday's strikes in Gaza came in response to the rocket launchings.

There was no immediately claim of responsibility for Tuesday's rocket attack, which happened shortly after Netanyahu announced a plan to annex part of the occupied West Bank if re-elected in the national ballot on Sept. 17.

Israel seized Gaza in a 1967 war and pulled out its settlers and troops in 2005. It maintains a naval blockade of the enclave and along with Egypt imposes tight restrictions at land borders, citing security concerns.

Hamas and Israel have fought three wars in the past decade.

Al-Qassam Brigades Shoots Down Israeli Army Drone

The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has shot down an Israeli drone in the Gaza Strip, a day after the regime carried out a fresh wave of air raids against the besieged coastal enclave.

Palestinian media reported, according to Press TV/Al Ray, that Hamas fighters intercepted and downed the quadcopter drone east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, on Monday night.

The Israeli military has confirmed that a drone fell in southern Gaza, stating that an investigation into the incident is underway.

The aircraft’s remains are now in the hands of al-Qassam, according to a statement by the group.

This is the second unmanned aerial vehicle that the Israeli army has lost in the past 24 hours.

The downing of the drone in the Rafah area comes amid a series of exchanges between Israel and Gaza.

Palestinian news agencies said, late Saturday, that Israeli airstrikes had targeted positions allegedly held by Hamas, inside the enclave. Health officials said there were no casualties from the attacks, which lasted for close to an hour.

Israeli sources said that the attacks had hit Hamas naval facilities along the Mediterranean, in addition to two military compounds run by the group in central Gaza. There was no confirmation from Hamas and its affiliated groups.

The relentless bombardment came after Hamas launched a drone operation targeting Israeli military equipment stationed along its border with the occupied Palestinian territories, following a wave of Israeli aerial assaults.

Hamas’ raids have come in response to the Israeli army’s killing of Palestinian protesters marching along the border fence.

Gaza has been under Israeli siege since June of 2007, and has caused a severe decline in living standards, prompting a UN prediction that the region would be uninhabitable by the year 2020.

Israel has also launched three major wars against the enclave since 2008, killing thousands of Gazans, each time, and shattering the impoverished territory’s already impoverished infrastructure.

On its part, the Lebanon-based Hezbollah Party said its fighters  had shot down an Israeli military drone outside the southern town of Ramyah, early Monday, amid heightened tensions between the group and the Israeli military.

Israeli Soldiers Shoot A Child, Abduct Thirteen Palestinians, In West Bank

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers shot a child, and abducted thirteen Palestinians, after the army invaded many communities, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, on Monday at dawn and during morning hours.

Media sources in Ramallah, in central West Bank, said several army jeeps invaded Beit Rima town, northwest of the city, and shot a Palestinian child with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his neck, after the army attacked local youngsters, protesting the morning invasion into their town.

They added that the soldiers also invaded and ransacked several homes in the town and occupied rooftops.

The soldiers also abducted three children, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, while they were walking to their schools.

In Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, the soldiers invaded and searched many homes, and abducted Khalil Hasan Hamed, Mousa Yasser Najjar, No’man Saleh Hamed, Mohammad Lutfi Hamed and Mohammad Yasser Hamed.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Mahmoud Mohammad Shorti, from his home in the al-Mazra’a ash-Sharqiya village, northeast of Ramallah, after invading his home and searching it.

In Jenin in norther northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Amin Zakarna and Ahmad Yousef Kamil, from their homes in Qabatia town, south of Jenin.

The soldiers also abducted one Palestinian, identified as Malek Eshteyya, from his home in Tal village, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

In Hebron city, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Emad Nairoukh, in addition to Laith Yousef Asafra and Mohammad Jihad Asafra, from their homes in Beit Kahil town, west of the city.

The soldiers also invaded many neighborhoods in Hebron city, and searched homes, in addition to installing roadblocks in Jouret Bahlas area, in its northern part, in addition to the entrances of Halhoul and Sa’ir towns, north and northeast of the city, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Police Assault Mother, Detain Son in East Jerusalem

Israeli police physically attacked a Palestinian mother before detaining her son, while they were near the light rail, close to Shua’fat refugee camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, said witnesses.

The mother and her son were attacked and pepper sprayed by Israeli police, for no apparent reason, before they detained the son and took him to an interrogation center in Jerusalem.

The police reportedly used foul language against the mother during the attack, WAFA further reports.

Army Abducts Three Palestinians In al-‘Isawiya

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Sunday at dawn, the town of al-Isawiya, in occupied East Jerusalem, searched homes and abducted three young men.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the town, before the soldiers broke into a few homes, and violently searched them.

They added that the soldiers abducted Yousef al-Kiswani, Tareq Mousa ‘Obeid and Anwar Sami ‘Obeid, and took them to an unknown destination.

On Saturday evening, the soldiers injured a young man, and abducted a teenage boy, after several army jeeps invaded al-‘Isawiya town, and attacked local youngsters protesting the invasion.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct A University Student Near Ramallah

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday at dawn, a young female student of Birzeit University, after storming her home in al-Biereh city, near Ramallah.

Media sources in Ramallah said several army jeeps invaded al-Biereh, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked the home Samah Jaradat, and abducted her.

It Is worth mentioning that, a week ago, the soldiers abducted Mais Abu Ghosh, a journalism student at Bir Zeit University, from her home in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, in addition to abducting another woman, who teaches journalism at Bir Zeit University, from her home in Koabar town, northwest of Ramallah.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Ein Qiniya village, northwest of Ramallah, before storming the home of a political prisoner, identified as Aysar Ma’rouf, in addition to the home of his brother, Tal’at, and several homes if their relatives.

Aysar’s wife, Nour Hamed, said the soldiers caused excessive damage to her home while violently searching it, and confiscated a memory card from the property.

Israeli Army Fires Missiles Into Northern, Central And Eastern Gaza

The Israeli Air Force fired, late on Sunday at night, several missiles into areas in the northern, central and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, causing excessive damage; the army claimed it was retaliating to a shell fired from Gaza.

Media sources in Gaza said the army fired several missiles into an area near the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, causing excessive damage without leading to casualties.

They added that the army also fired missiles into a site in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and another building southeast of Gaza city, causing excessive property damage, and that Israeli navy ships fired many flares near Gaza city.

According to the Palestinian Quds News Network, two of the targeted sites are run by the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in northern and central Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed that it was retaliating to one shell, which was reportedly fired from the Gaza Strip, and landed in an open area near Sderot in the Negev, leading to a “brush fire,” according to Israeli Ynet News.

“Palestinian Detainee Dies in Israeli Prison”

Cancer-stricken Palestinian prisoner Bassam al-Sayyeh, from the northern West Bank district of Nablus, died today in an Israeli prison, due to medical negligence, said the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission.

Al-Sayyeh, 47, was detained on August 10, 2015, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2011 and blood cancer in 2013.

The commission held the Israeli government fully responsible for the racist crimes committed against Palestinians, including the physical and psychological torture and medical negligence of prisoners, among other violations, calling for an investigation into these crimes.

His wife, a former political prisoner, identified as Mona Hayes, said that she has been barred from visiting him for the last two years.

She added that he started suffering from various serious health conditions four years ago and never received specialized medical care, and over the past year, Bassam suffered serious health issues, and was hospitalized in Israel hospitals, then to Ramla hospital.

His latest setback resulted in clinical death due to renal failure and Kidney failure, due to the lack of adequate and profession medical treatment.

The Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported that the detainee also”received chemotherapy by incompetent physicians and lost his life due to pulmonary edema, cirrhosis and cardiac failure.”

His lawyer tried to get Israeli courts to release him so that he can receive specialized medical care in Palestine or abroad, but all appeals were denied.

Former political prisoner, Khader Adnan from Arraba near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, who held extended hunger strike while in Israeli prisons and faced near death conditions, said the death of Sayeh requires real solidarity and action to expose the Israeli crimes against the detainees, and the seriously escalating violations, and warned that without such an action, this death will not be the last.

The death of al-Sayyeh brings the number of Palestinian prisoners who died in Israeli jails since 1967 to 221 prisoners.

At least 700 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails suffer from serious health conditions, 160 of whom are in need of urgent medical follow-up.

Palestinians have accused the Israeli authorities of failing to provide proper medical treatment, or of delaying treatment to ill prisoners, causing a deterioration in their health.

According to Addameer Prisoners Support and Human Rights organization, “in regard to adequate medical attention and treatment, Article 91 [of the Fourth Geneva Convention] emphasizes that “every place of internment shall have an adequate infirmary…” and that “Internees may not be prevented from presenting themselves to the medical authority for examination.”

In addition to this article, Article 92 asserts that “Medical inspections of internees shall be made at least once a month…”. It is evident that the withholding of treatment, or access to a medical professional, is a violation of these specific provisions, and therefore a violation of international humanitarian law.”
