The Houthis announced the implementation of seven attacks. And Saudi Arabia announces the exposure of oil installations to attacks by drones

Saudi Arabia's oil facilities were attacked by drones on Tuesday, the Saudi government said.

The announcement came about one hour after the Houthis announced attacks by seven drones that affected Saudi Arabia's vital facilities. According to the Saudi media, "limited targeting" of two petroleum pumping stations follows Aramco's in "Al-Dawadmi  " and  "Afif ".

The Saudi energy minister announced the targeting of two pipeline pumping stations from the eastern oil fields to Yanbu. The energy minister said the targeting was carried out using drone-and the targeting led to a fire at station 8 and was controlled.

According to the Saudi official, Aramco stopped pumping in the pipeline until the plant was repaired.

"The terrorist targeting of vital facilities not only targets Saudi Arabia, it targets the world and energy, and the international community must address those attacks," the Saudi energy minister said.

The attack comes one day after attacks on four giant oil tankers that docked off the emirate's Fujairah port, two of which were Saudi Arabian tankers.

A body of a soldier was found dead in Tawahi- Aden

Local residents found the body of a soldier on Monday evening near a tourist resort in Tawahi district, west of Aden City, south of the country, as a local source told Al-Masdar online.

The source said that citizens of the Tawahi district found the body of the soldier Raed Abu Arab, who works in the security team guarding the local council building in Al Mualla district, in Al-‘aroosah  resort killed and appeared on his body stains of blood.

The incident, which came about 24 hours after an improvised explosive device exploded, killed one soldier and wounded six others, including civilians, in Dar Saad district in northern Aden.

A bomb exploded late Sunday evening at a security post in Dar Saad district in northern Aden, killing one soldier and injuring six others, including civilians, local residents and eyewitnesses told Al-Masdar online.

The IED was planted at a security site in the centre of Dar Saad district, killing one of the site's soldiers and wounding soldiers and civilians with minor injuries and later transported to the Buraihi Hospital in Al-Mansoura Directorate for treatment.

The motive for the attack, which was the first to target a security site about a month ago, was not known, but in many attacks the city's security authorities say that those behind them are creating chaos in the city, but have not nomenate specific factions.

Clashes continue in Qa’tabbah and a woman killed by Houthi sniper

Sporadic clashes between government forces and Huthi fighters continue in the southern Yemeni province of al-Dali amid a major exodus from Qa’tabbah northern of the province.

According to field sources, violent confrontations between government forces and Houthi militia have been sporadic in a number of neighbourhoods and streets of the city of Qa’tabbah after the Houthi militia took control of the northern and western parts of the town.

Confrontations between the forces of the national army and the Houthi militia in the city of Qa’tabbah, to Naqeel Al-Sheem  south of Murais area, "Hamran al-Sada" area, north of Qa’tabbah district, and the western ring road in Al-'bara area.

The two sides exchanged artillery shelling and targeted al-Houthi positions by government forces in Hamran al-Sada area, Dar Al-Suqmah and the "Ma;zoob Amer", North and west of Qa’tabbah district.

According to other sources, the government forces targeted a truck carrying ammunition and a military vehicle as they passed through the villages of Haumr west of Qa’tabbah district.

A woman, Zahra Hamemed Ali, was shot dead by a Houthi sniper in the village of "Thi Ali" in Al-Azareq district, in the border between Baher and Torsa.

A military leader and three soldiers killed in Houthis attacks northern Taiz

A field commander and three soldiers were killed and a fourth soldier was injured in a foiled attack by Houthi militia on Saturday morning, north of the southwestern city of Taiz.

A military source told "Al-Masdar online " that the soldiers Samir Shaghdari and Aqil Damaj were killed by improvised explosive devices planted in front of a house, and their leader Mohamed Abdo Ali killed and private Shuaib al-Ma’mari, and Yusuf al-Dahash shot by the Houthi militia sniper while trying to pull the bodies of the soldiers.

The Houthi militia launched a violent attack during the past hours on the positions of the government forces in the front of Wadi al-Zonoj and Osaifrah north of Taiz city.

Saudi minister: Two Saudi oil tankers damaged in 'sabotage attack'

Saudi Arabia said on Monday that two of its oil tankers had been sabotaged off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, in attacks it described as posing a threat to the security of global oil supplies.

Tensions have risen in the oil-rich region in recent weeks amid the deployment of a growing number of United States military assets to the Middle East due to deteriorating relations with Iran.

On Thursday, the US Maritime Administration issued an advisory warning that "Iran or its proxies" could be targeting commercial vessels and oil production infrastructure in the region.

One of the two Saudi vessels was on its way to be loaded with Saudi crude oil from the port of Ras Tanura, to be delivered to customers in the US, Saudi Arabia's state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Monday.

While the agency didn't mention casualties or oil spills, it did say there had been "significant damage to the structures of the two vessels."

On Sunday, the UAE said that four commercial cargo ships were targeted by "sabotage operations" off its eastern coast. The apparent sabotage took place near to UAE territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman, east of the emirate of Fujairah, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said.

It is unclear if the ships mentioned by Saudi Arabia and the UAE are part of the same incident.

The UAE ministry did not elaborate on the nature of the alleged sabotage, or offer any indication as to who might be responsible, including whether it was carried out by individuals or a larger group or country.

The UAE ministry said authorities were working with local and international bodies to investigate the incident, which it described as a "dangerous development." It said there were no injuries or deaths.

"The international community (needs to) assume its responsibilities to prevent any parties trying to undermine the security and safety of maritime traffic," the ministry said.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Monday that the incidents were "alarming and regrettable," and requested further information on the alleged sabotage.

The Iran spokesman warned against "plots by ill-wishers to disrupt regional security" and called for "vigilance of regional states in the face of any adventurism by foreign elements."

Iran borders the Persian Gulf and the Straits of Hormuz.

In additional comments Monday, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the "acts of sabotage" and expressed solidarity with the UAE, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The comments follow an earlier statement from Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih in which he described the attack as an attempt to "undermine the freedom of maritime navigation, and the security of oil supplies to consumers all over the world."

WHO: Cholera hits more than 300,000 in Yemen since the beginning of the year

The number of suspected cases of tuberculosis has exceeded 300,000 since the beginning of this year, according to World health Organization's office on Sunday.

The statistics quoted by KUNA news agency as the death of 580 cases out of the 306 thousand suspected cases of Cholera have been reported from the beginning of the year to the tenth of the current.

The secretariat of the capital and the province of Sana'a topped the highest incidence of the disease with about 89 thousand infections and together recorded 108 deaths.

According to the statistics, the governorates (Hodeidah), (Ibb) and (Dhamar) camen next in number of infections while (Ibb) were highest in deaths with  (87) cases (Dhamar) 58 cases and (Taiz) 55 cases.

The statistics show that Hadramawt was at the lowest in Yemen in the number of casualties with 13 cases registered, “Al-Mahrah” 138 cases and “Shabwah” 369 cases.

The statistics revealed that the highest percentage of the population was amongst older persons above 60 years by 47% and then children under the age of 5 with  17% which is the most affected population of the epidemic by 23%.

It is reported that World  Health Organization recorded more than 2,700 deaths in cholera out of approximately 1.4 cases from May 2017 until the end of October 2018.

At least seven civilians were killed on Tuesday in air strikes and a ground attack launched by Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Saada province, over the past 24 hours, a security source said.

According to the source, the Saudi border guards have killed the latest civilian in Raqo area of Manabah border district

The source indicated that “several civilians were killed and another one was seriously wounded when the Saudi-led coalition launched an air strike on a car on the main road of Majaz district.

During the past hours, the coalition warplanes waged an air strike on al-A’ashash area of Kitaf, and two other air strikes on Ghamr border district, causing material damages to civilians’ properties.

Civilian injured in continued coalition-led violations over last hours : Report

 A citizen was injured over the last 24 hours in attacks by the US-saudi aggression coalition on several area in new violation to the Sweden agreement, a security official told Saba.

The citizen was injured when a Saudi-led airstrike hit a house in Bany Mouaath area, Saada province, he said, adding that the rocketry and artillery force of saudi enemy shelled populated areas in Razih border district.

A tank belonging to the mercenaries of coalition targeted a gas station belonging to a citizen in Qaatba district, Dhaleah province, he affirmed.

In Hodeidah, the mercenaries fired their heavy and medium weapons at Hodeidah airport and 7 July area, he said, adding that they fired also their Katyusha rockets and Heavy machine guns at areas in 50th St., Hodeidah city.

They shelled villages of Zaafran and Mahal Sheikh as well nearby areas in Durihimy besieged city using their heavy and medium machine guns, he affirmed.

Saudi-Led Coalition’s Daily Update for Monday, May 13th, 2019

The Saudi-led coalition continues, on Monday, to launch raids in several governorates, killing and injuring a number of civilians and damaging private and public properties.

In Sa’ada, the Saudi-led coalition launched an airstrike on a car, killing 6 civilians and injured one in Majz district.

The US-backed coalition also launched two raids on Ghammer district.

In Hodeidahh, the US-Saudi forces escalated its cease-fire violations by targeting Ad-durayhimi district with 50 shells and medium and heavy machine-guns, burning and destroying a number of civilians’ houses. US-Saudi forces targeted Kilo-16 with 7 Katyusha missiles.

The Saudi-led coalition targeted Al-Jabaleah area and southern At-tohayta with 18 shells and 10 Katyusha missiles. The US-Saudi mercenaries targeted civilians properties with 48 artillery shells and launched an infiltration attempt  in Hais district. The US-Saudi machine-guns also targeted a neighborhood in July-7th residential area with heavy machine-guns.

Yemeni Drone Strikes Military Position in Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni army forces announced that they have managed to target a military gathering of the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US, with a Qasef K2 drone.

During an attack by a Yemeni drone of Qasef K2 type, a number of forces of the coalition were killed and wounded.

According to Yemeni sources, the military position in Saudi Arabia Southwestern province of Aseer was hit by a suicide drone of the Yemeni army forces.

The sources added that the operation was carried out after a series of thorough intelligence and reconnaissance operations.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
