Palestinian Medic Dies of Wounds, Dozens Abducted by Israeli Occupation Soldiers, Illegal Settlers Burn Olive Trees, Break into Al-Aqsa Mosque June 11, 2019 Editor's Note: While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. The PRCS stated that the medic, from the al-Boreij refugee camp in central Gaza, suffered fractures in his nose, face and skull. The soldiers shot him in Abu Safiyya area, in Jabalia, in the northern part of the coastal region, while he was providing medical care to wounded Palestinians during the Great Return March processions. Illegal Israeli Settlers Break Into Al-Aqsa June 9, 2019 9:57 PM IMEMC News & Agencies Dozens of extremist illegal Jewish settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, today, guarded by Israeli police, local WAFA sources have reported. Around 330 illegal Israeli settlers entered the compound through the Moroccan Gate, which leads to the Al-Buraq Wall plaza, inside the Old City of Jerusalem. Today’s incursion into the compound is not the first time Israeli settlers have entered the area under heavy Israeli police protection. Settlers regularly enter the area, and often perform Jewish prayers on the site, which is where they believe the Second Temple once stood. Some right-wing Israeli activists have advocated for the destruction of the compound, to make way for a Third Temple. Increasingly, these activists have sought to build support for an increased Jewish presence at the site, despite a longstanding, joint guardianship agreement between Israel and Jordan, which retains control over Christian and Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem. Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site in Islam. It was also Islam’s first Qibla, the direction towards which Muslims must turn to pray, before that was changed to Mecca, in Saudi Arabia. Five other Palestinians were abducted from Qalqilia governorate, five in Bethlehem, four in Ramallah, three in Tubas, one in Tulkarem, in addition to two, including a child, from Hebron. Media sources said approximately 50 Israeli colonists from the illegal Havat Gal outpost and Keryat Arba’ colony, accompanied by many soldiers, tried to stop the installation of the tower on the rooftop of a Palestinian home in the al-Kassara area, east of Hebron city. Despite the attack, and an ensuing argument, the workers proceeded to install the tower, and the colonists left the scene. The attack, and the attempt to stop the work, took place while many Israeli companies have been installing cellular towers in the same area, in the occupied city. Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct A Palestinian Teen In Jerusalem June 9, 2019 6:13 PM IMEMC News Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Sunday afternoon, a Palestinian teenage boy in occupied East Jerusalem, reportedly for carrying a knife. They added that his family reported him missing, on Saturday morning, after he failed to show up for a final exam for school. The teen was taken prisoner after Israeli police officers stopped and searched him when they received a report about a “suspicious person.” He was moved to an interrogation facility in Jerusalem. Palestinian Detainee Hassan al-‘Oweiwi On Hunger Strike For Over 2 Months June 9, 2019 1:45 AM IMEMC News & Agencies Palestinian prisoner Hassan al-‘Oweiwi is on his 68th day of hunger strike, protesting his imprisonment without charge or trial under Israeli administrative detention. On Thursday, 6 June, Aweiwi was transferred to a civilian hospital, Barzilai, after the severe deterioration of his health after over two months without food. He is currently being held in Ramle prison clinic. Hassan Abed Rabbo of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Commission said that al-‘Oweiwi, 35, had lost over 20 kilograms since he launched his hunger strike. The married father of three from al-Khalil was seized by Israeli occupation forces on 15 January 2019 and transferred to administrative detention – imprisonment without charge or trial. There are currently approximately 500 Palestinians, out of a total of 5,400 Palestinian prisoners, held under administrative detention. Detention orders can be issued for up to six months at a time and are indefinitely renewable; Palestinians have been jailed for years at a time under administrative detention. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that since al-‘Oweiwi launched his strike on 2 April 2019, he has been subject to numerous retaliatory measures by Israeli prison authorities, including throwing him in isolation, transferring him from prison to prison, denying him family visits and delaying his legal visits. The transfer process for Palestinian prisoners uses a “bosta,” a metal vehicle that is poorly ventilated and extremely hot in the summer, and “bosta” journeys often involve many stops that make the trip extremely lengthy. Al-‘Oweiwi ’s wife, Maysaa, has spoken to the Palestinian media, urging greater attention to the situation of her husband and other Palestinians in Israeli jails. He has spent three years in Israeli prison under multiple arrests, mostly in administrative detention. Crimes Against Palestinian Detainees Taking On Dangerous Dimension June 9, 2019 1:37 AM IMEMC News & Agencies Qadri Abu Bakr, chairman of the Detainees Affairs Commission, has condemned the repeated crimes committed, by Israel, against Palestinians being held in its jails, which he says have taken “a very dangerous and unprecedented dimension” designed to complicate their daily lives in prison. Abu Bakr said in a statement, yesterday, that Israel is mobilizing all its capacities to create new realities in the prisons. He stressed that Israel uses all available opportunities to crack down on prisoners and their families. He added, according to WAFA: “There are daily incursions into prisons and detention centers, and a large number of detainees are transferred from one prison to another.” Abu Bakr argued that Israel does not want Palestinian prisoners to have stable conditions in jail, pointing to the instruction issued by Ashkelon prison last week not to allow prisoners to celebrate Eid El-Fitr as evidence that Israel is racist. For The Third Consecutive Day, Illegal Israeli Settlers Burn Olive Trees Near Ramallah June 8, 2019 11:34 PM IMEMC News For the third consecutive day, illegal Israeli colonialist settlers burnt more than 100 olive trees, owned by a Palestinian family in al- Mughayyir Palestinian village, northeast of Ramallah in central West Bank. The colonists invaded large areas of farmlands and orchards, and burnt more than 100 trees, owned by members of the Na’san family, the Palestinian TV has reported. The family said they planted the trees on their own lands more than ten years ago, and has been since then tending to their orchards and fields despite the Israeli restrictions and constant violations, especially since they are in Area C of the occupied West Bank, under full Israeli control. Palestinian firefighters tried to reach the lands, but the Israeli military restrictions prevented them from performing their duties. Many villagers rushed to the lands to help the family, and managed to extinguish the fire using branches and sticks, preventing it from spreading to more lands, including wheat fields. The Palestinian farmers in the area told Palestine TV that they would never abandon their lands and orchards, despite the constant Israeli attacks, including burning the lands and uprooting the trees.
