32 Syrians Killed in Regime-Russian-US Air Strikes and Attacks on July 5, 2019 Editor's Note: The following news stories are just examples of the daily horrors of war in Syria. Readers can find more detailed daily news stories at the sources below as well as many other sources in the internet.
The following are news stories from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) website (http://www.syriahr.com/en/): *** 13 civilians mostly children and women were killed in the horrific massacre carried out by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters in a village in the western countryside of Idlib SOHR, 05/07/2019 The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the number of casualties who were killed in the horrific massacre carried out today evening by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters in Muhambal village in the western countryside of Idlib, has increased to 13 including 7 children and 3 citizen women, in addition to the presence of a number of injuries some of whom are in critical condition which may increase the death toll. While it rose to 98, the number of raids carried out by the regime’s warplanes since today’s morning, targeting Kafrsajna, Om Zaytouna, Rakaya Sajna, the surroundings of Sheikh Mustafa, Bsaqla, Hass, Kafr Nubl, Ma’aret Hurmah, Sehyan, Khan Shaykhun, Bsida, Horsh Basenqul, Armanaya, Kara Hish, the outskirts of Al-Arba’in and Tremla in the southern countryside of Idlib, Muhambal in the western countryside of Idlib, the outskirts of al-Bawabiyyah in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo, and the vicinity of Al-Lataminah, Latmin and Murak north of Hama, while the Russian warplanes carried out more than 34 raids since after midnight of yesterday on places in the vicinity of al-Neirab village – the brick factory east of Ariha city. On the road between Ariha and Saraqib, and Khan Shaykhun, Kafrsajna, Hish and Rakaya Sajna south of Idlib, Al-Arba’in village in Hama countryside, also the SOHR monitored more than 40 barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on al-Lataminah, the vicinity of Kafr Zita, and al-Sayyad in the northern countryside of Hama, Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, and Muhambal town in the western countryside of Idlib. While the SOHR monitored rocket shelling today evening by the rebel factions on positions of the regime forces in Jurin, Al-Aziziyyeh, Al-Rasif, Qabr Faddah, Al-Suqaylabiyah, Buraydij, Al-Hammamiyat, Kernaz and Sheikh Hadid in the north-western countryside of Hama, while it rose to 330, the number of artillery and missile shells launched by the regime forces since midnight until now, targeting places in Al-Hbit, al-Naqir, Abdeen, Mdaya, Deir Sunbul, and al-Sahriyya in the southern countryside of Idlib, and al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, al-Zakat, Tal Meleh, al-Jabin, Hwyja, al-Hwash, al-Mshik, al-Qarqour, Zayzoun Station, and al-Ziyara in Sahl al-Ghab northwest of Hama, and the outskirts of Beshqatin village in the western countryside of Aleppo. This operation targeted AQ-S operatives responsible for plotting external attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians.” “Northwest Syria remains a safe haven where AQ-S leaders actively coordinate terrorist activities, to include planning attacks throughout the region and in the West. With our allies and partners, we will continue to target Daesh (ISIS) and al Qaeda to prevent both groups from using Syria as a safe haven.” 8 were killed on July 4, 2019, including 2 members of regime’s intelligence and 6 other people 5 martyrs joined yesterday the convoy of martyrs of the Syrian revolution. SOHR, 05/07/2019 The Syrian Observatory documented today the death of 5 citizens who were killed due to the aerial bombardment on Idlib province, they are: 2 citizens were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Khan Shaykhun city south of Idlib, a child was killed in shelling by the Russian warplanes on the outskirts of al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiyah, a female child was killed in dropping barrel bombs by helicopters on Hass village in the southern countryside of Idlib, and a citizen was killed due to barrel bombs dropped by the regime’s helicopters on Kafr Nubl town south of Idlib. A child died in a traffic accident west of al-Hasakah city, between a motorcycle drove by 2 children and a car belongs to the International Coalition. 2 bodies of the State security members who used to be fighters and then carried out “reconciliation and settlement,” were found killed and their corpses were thrown on the outskirts of al-Shammari Presser on the outskirts of al-Muzayrib. 11 were killed on July 3, 2019, including a member of regime’s intelligence service and 10 other people It rose to 8, the number of people who joined the convoy of casualties of the Syrian revolution yesterday. 04/07/2019 In Hama province 2 girls were killed in the fall of rocket shells launched by the factions on areas in the villages of Aziziya and al-Rasif in Sahl al-Ghab which are controlled by the regime forces. In Aleppo province a woman was killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on the area of the 1st Mohandesin in the western countryside of Aleppo. 2 men were killed in a booby-trapped bicycle explosion in al-Bab city, which is controlled by the “Euphrates Shield” factions northeast of Aleppo. 3 citizens including 2 children were killed in the explosion of a motorcycle drove by a suicide bomber believed to be a member of the “Islamic State” Organization in the canals area northeast of al-Suwaidaa city, and another person was killed during the bombing which was not unidentified until now. And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2145, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 5th of July 2019, and they are: 564 civilians including 145 children and 109 citizen women, and they are 62 including 19 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 55 including 12 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 337 including 89 children, 62 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 71 people including 11 women and 9 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 39 citizens including 16 children and 8 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 858 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling including 543 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 723 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions. And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 5th of July 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2674 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 851 civilians including 231 children under the age of eighteen and 173 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 67 people including 24 children under the age of eighteen and 14 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 944 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 588 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 879 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them. While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2903 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 932 civilians including 259 children and 187 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 69 people including 24 children and 12 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1011 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 602 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 960 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them. *** Share the link of this article with your facebook friendsFair Use Notice This site contains copyrighted material the
