Five civilians wounded, including a girl in Houthis bombing in Taiz

Eyewitnesses and medics said on Wednesday that five civilians, including a girl, were wounded in an artillery attack by the Houthis-Saleh forces in the eastern and western parts of Taiz city.

Residents told Almasdaronline that the Houthi tank, positioned on Softill Hill, had shelled the homes of the residents in Al-Shamasi neighborhood, wounding the two years old Alaa Suleiman.

They added that a similar bombardment were on the old airport district.

Residents reported that one of the shells fell on a group of civilians in the neighborhood, wounding four of them, who were taken to hospital.

On the other hand, fighting continued between the Houthis-Salih forces on the one hand, and the government forces on the other in Mocha and Mozza districts, western Taiz province, on the southwestern coast of Yemen.

Moreover, a field source told Almasdaronline that the government forces tightened their attack on the Houthi communities' northern Yakhtil region of Mocha district, in coincidence with another attack on sites in the outskirts of al Hamili area northern Mozza district.

The source said that four Houthis were killed in the fighting, while a government soldier was killed and three others wounded by a mine explosion.

UN official: Coalition aircrafts kill 17 civilians in Saada, demanding investigation

A UN official said on Wednesday that 17 civilians were killed in an air raid launched by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition aircrafts in Sahar district of Saada province northern Yemen, the Houthis stronghold.

Jamie McGoldrick, the UN humanitarian coordinator for Yemen, posted in Twitter that the United Nations is deeply concerned about the reports of attacks on civilians.

He added that the confirmations indicate the deaths of 17 people, and wounding dozens of civilians.

He noted that the United Nations High Commissioner is demanding to investigate the air strike that targeted civilians in Saada.

McGoldrick said there is an anger at the continued and total silence of the international organizations and the Saudi-led Arab coalition for the frequent fall of civilians.

Dozens of Houthis killed in heavy fighting in Taiz, Sana'a

In the eastern Khaboub district, the government forces forced Houthis to retreat from five mountainous sites, the source said, pointing out that the fighting and artillery shelling lasted for hours.

He said that the fighting and shelling led to the killing of 7 Houthis and wounding 6 others, in exchange for 3 killed and 6 wounded from government forces.

The spokesman for the seventh military zone said that dozens of Houthis were killed also and others injured in battles against government forces in the Nihm district, northeastern the capital Sana'a.

Abdullah al-Shindqi posted on Facebook that the government forces had taken control of the Beni Baraq, El-Nayla, Daboua and fifteen other locations.

Al-Shundi talked about the losses of the Houthis saying that dozens of the Houthis were killed and wounded, in addition to the destruction of mechanisms and armed vehicles.

Seven people, including women and children, were killed Friday in a new massacre committed by the Saudi-led coalition in the northern province of Sa'ada, raising the number of victims of Saudi crimes during the past two days to 81 killed and wounded civilians amid international silence.

The Saudi-led coalition targeted the home of a citizen in the area of Al-Aslan based in Baqim District in Saada, northern Yemen.

The death toll of the crime reached 7 civilians, including women and children, and is likely to increase, as the rescue operations are still going until the moment.

Ten children, including 2 in critical condition, were injured yesterday evening as a result of an air raid targeting them in the village of Malaha in Masloub District, Jawf Governorate.

On Thursday, three citizens were killed when Saudi border guards opened fire at Yemeni citizens in the Al-Sheikh district of the Manba District of Saada.

The coalition also committed a terrible massacre against the market of Alaf in Saada province on Wednesday morning, killing 29 civilians and wounding 28 others.

Moreover, two citizens were killed and a third got wounded on Wednesday morning as a result of a Saudi American airstrike hitting a bunch of passengers on a main road in the area of Ghafra based in Zaher District, Saada Governorate.

On Wednesday, a resident of Razih District was wounded by Saudi border guards.

The crimes of the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people take place amid the silence of the international community and the international bodies and organizations, especially the United Nations, which remains tongue-tied as it watches the coalition massacres against thousands of Yemeni civilians.

It is noteworthy that more than 35 thousand Yemeni civilians have been killed and wounded in the raids of the Saudi-led coalition since the beginning of the war against Yemen in March 2015, according to independent statistics.
