Hundreds of Syrians Killed Daily by US-Russian-Regime Air Strikes, Bombardment

Editor's Note:

The coalition which fights the Islamic State and other Sunni groups in Syria consists of US-led NATO forces, Russian forces, Syrian Alewite government forces, Iranian-backed Shi'i militias, and Kurdish peshmerga forces. The coalition's continuous attacks have resulted in the killing of thousands of Iraqi and Syrian Sunni Muslim Arabs and the eviction of millions of them as a result of the destruction of their cities and villages.

The end outcome is going to be the weakening and possible dismantling of Iraqi and Syrian states as well as the eviction (ethnic cleansing of) Sunni Muslim Arabs, particularly from the upper Euphrates region of northwestern Iraq and northeastern Syria. 

The larger context for understanding the Syrian war (and other wars in the Middle East) is that it contributes to the implementation of the Zionist-Israeli plan of destroying the Arab Middle Eastern states in preparation for the establishment of the greater Israeli empire, from the Nile of Egypt to the Euphrates of Iraq.

A member of Civil Defense died affected by injury he had due to landmine explosion in al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, while the regime forces’ helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, in conjunction with raids by warplanes which targeted places in al-Ja’aabat village and other areas in the outskirts, the vicinity, and near Maskanah town, but no information about human losses yet.

Shelling targets the countryside of Hama and 12 fighters of SDF were killed in clashes in the countryside of al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah

Explosions were heard in the northern countryside of Hama, caused by bombing by warplanes and shelling by the regime forces on places ta the vicinity of towns in this countryside, no information about casualties.

at least 12 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces were documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Right, they were killed in shelling, bombings and clashes against fighters of the “Islamic State” organization in the countryside of al-Raqqah and al-Hasakah.

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Warplanes bombed areas in the towns of Hatlah and Marat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and other areas in al-Jninah village and the surroundings of al-Ma’aamel roundabout north of Deir Ezzor city which injured several persons.

The warplanes also bombed areas in the Al-Bogeleyyah neighborhood at the northwestern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city, while violent clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase, also cargo airplanes dropped several containers of foodstuffs and humanitarian aid on areas controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city.

Hama province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

A landmine exploded in a car belongs to the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham on the road between the villages of Sharia and Ayn al-Taqa in Sahl Al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, no information about injuries.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the forces of “Euphrates Wrath” operation were able to achieve a new advancement and control the village of Raqqat Samra at the northern banks of the Euphrates River, which is about 3 km east of al-Raqqah city, where the clashes coincided with bombing by the International Coalition on the area, while these forces are trying to hold their control over the village, as a step to repel any counter attack by the “Islamic State” organization on the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also received confirmed information about the withdrawal of members of the “Islamic State” organization from areas they used to control in the western and northwestern areas of al-Raqqah, while the military operations, shelling and clashes between both parties have caused confirmed casualties in the ranks of both of them, also the forces of “Euphrates Wrath” operation were also able to advance in the area and control al-Rashid village .

Injuries in a renewed aerial bombardment on the countryside of Deir Ezzor and explosion in Sahl Al-Ghab targets a car of a rebel movement

It rose to 12 including a fighter the number of persons who joined the convoy of martyrs of the Syrian revolution yesterday on Sunday.

In Deir Ezzor province, 7 citizens including 3 citizen women were killed due to shelling by the ” ISIS ” organization on areas in al-Jourah and al-Qosour neighborhoods which are controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city.

In Rif Dimashq province 2 citizens were killed due to shelling by the regime forces on areas in al-Ash’ari farms in the Eastern Ghouta.

In Idlib province a person was killed in bomb explosion which was dropped by warplanes on al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama earlier and hadn’t exploded. In Homs province a man from Taldo town in al-Houla area in the northern countryside of Homs died affected by injury he had due to bombing by warplanes 20 days ago on areas in the town.

In Aleppo province a fighter of the factions was killed due to targeting him by the regime forces in al-Mansourah area in the western countryside of Aleppo. At least 12 citizen women were killed in the massacre which was carried out by the International Coalition’ warplanes which targeted places in al-Akershi village in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa, while a man died affected by injury he had due to bombing by warplanes of the International Coalition on areas in al-Adnaniyah farm in the countryside of al-Raqqa earlier, also a boy aged 14 was killed due to bombing by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition on al-Sheninah camp area north of al-Raqqa city.

And a man was killed due to shelling by the Turkish forces on the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

And the factions executed a man in Jasem town in the countryside of Daraa on charges of ” Amir of a cell of the ” ISIS ” organization”.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the ” ISIS ” organization executed 2 persons one of them is a child under the age of 18 in Baghdad street in al-Bokamal city on charges of ” burning a car belongs to al-Hisbah ” and the ” ISIS ” organization filmed the execution. And the ” ISIS ” organization carried out 4 stoning operations in al-Mayadin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the “first one” was stoning one of its members on charges of ” adultery ” The second one was stoning another member of the Syrian nationality on charges of ” luring 3 women in order to rape them ” while another member of the ” ISIS ” organization and a woman were stoned on charges of ” adultery ” and local sources confirmed that ” stoning the woman ” was carried out by her brother.

And 8 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed due to shelling and clashes against the ” ISIS ” organization, and also due to targeting them in the northern countryside of Hama.

At least 9 fighters of the ” ISIS ” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed due to clashes, bombing by the warplanes and helicopters, and shelling on the areas of their presence.

39 persons were killed yesterday including 6 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 15 persons were killed due to aerial bombardment, explosions, and in other circumstances

It rose to 4 the number of persons who joined the convoy of martyrs of the Syrian revolution yesterday on Saturday.

In Homs province 2 persons were killed in the northern countryside of Homs, and there is conflicted information about the circumstances of murdering whether they were killed due to shelling or due to the explosion in al-Hashemiyyah area.

In Idlib province a person was killed in landmine explosion in the vicinity of Sarmin town in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

In Deir Ezzor province a child was killed due to bombing by warplanes on areas in al-Hawiqah neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, but no information about casualties.

And a person was killed while he was trying to plant an explosive device near the house of a commander of a rebel faction in Bariqah area in the countryside of al-Qunietra.

A person was killed due to bombing by the International Coalition’ warplanes on the northern outskirts of al-Raqqa city the main stronghold of the ” ISIS ” organization in Syria, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 7 citizens of one family they are a man and his 2 sons and 2 grandsons and another man and his wife were killed due to bombing by the warplanes of the International Coalition.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the “ISIS” organization executed one of its members of Syrian nationality by shooting him in Abriha village which is located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on charges of “killing a child with other members who are still hiding from the Islamic State on the Euphrates bank” in the 2nd half of 2016.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that the “ISIS” organization executed 2 persons in al-Bokmal city which is located on the border with Iraq, and the sources confirmed to the Observatory that the execution was carried out at al-Sekkary roundabout in the city where tens of citizens and children were watching, members of the organization said that both executed persons were fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces who were captured earlier.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the death of 4 fighters at least of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed due to shelling and clashes against the ” ISIS ” organization in the countryside of al-Raqqa within ” Euphrates Wrath ” operation.

And 6 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed due to shelling and clashes against the ” ISIS ” organization and also due to targeting them in the northern countryside of Hama.

At least 13 fighters of the ” ISIS ” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed due to clashes, bombing by warplanes and helicopters, and shelling on the areas of their presence.

55 persons were killed yesterday including 11 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 20 members of the ” ISIS ” organization were killed due to aerial bombardment on the eastern countryside of Aleppo

It rose to 4 the number of persons who joined the convoy of martyrs of the Syrian revolution yesterday.

In Rif Dimashq province 2 citizens were killed one of them is a man was killed by sniper’s bullets in the outskirts of KafarBatna town in the Eastern Ghouta, and the other one is young man was killed due to mine explosion in al-Rahiybah area in the Eastern Qalamoun.

In Daraa province a child was killed by gunshot in Da’el area in the middle countryside of Daraa.

In Idlib province a body of a man was found dead in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur in the western countryside of Idlib, where cross sources confirmed that the young man was found killed, but no information about the reasons or circumstances of the murder.

And 5 persons were killed due to bombing by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition on al-Qouriyyah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

While a young man was killed due to strikes by the International Coalition’ warplanes on al-Sehel area in the countryside of al-Raqqa, while another man from Debsi Afnan town in the western countryside of al-Raqqa was killed due to bombing by the warplanes of the International Coalition on areas in al-Qadesiyyah farm near the town.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the ” ISIS ” organization executed 5 of its members of the Iraqi nationality near the rail in al-Bokamal city which is located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near the Syrian – Iraqi border, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the ” ISIS ” organization executed its members on charges of ” selling the weapons of the organization to Iraqi traders and then buying the weapons from the same traders again “.

And 20 members of the ” ISIS ” organization were killed due to bombing by warplanes on the eastern countryside of Aleppo and during clashes against the regime forces there.

11 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed due to shelling and clashes against the ” ISIS ” organization and also due to targeting them in the northern countryside of Hama.

At least 8 fighters of the ” ISIS ” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed due to clashes, bombing by warplanes and helicopters, and shelling on the areas of their presence.

41 persons were killed yesterday including 6 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 17 other persons

In Daraa Province two civilians were killed, one of them died affected by injuries he had in targeting by the regime forces in the vicinity of Ghabagheb town in the countryside of Daraa a few days ago, and a person from al-Lajat area was killed under torture inside the security detention camps of the Syrian regime after being arrested earlier.

In Homs Province a woman was killed after being shot during the distribution of aid to al-Rokban camp for the displaced persons near the Jordanian border about two days ago.

And at least 15 including 5 children and women were killed in airstrikes on the areas of Bir al-Hasheem and the Gas Plant are at the outskirts of al-Raqqah city by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition.

While a fighter of the factions was killed by shooting by gunmen Hafsarjeh town in the countryside of Idlib, and crossed sources told the Observatory that the gunmen were members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham.

And 8 members of the “Islamic State” organization were killed in shelling and clashes against the Syria Democratic Forces in the countryside of Al-Raqqah.

And 3 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization were killed in airstrikes by the International Coalition’s warplanes in al-Quriyah village in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

And 6 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to were killed in bombing and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and due to targeting in the northern countryside of Hama.

And at least 5 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and bombardment by warplanes and helicopters and in shelling on their areas of presence.

US Air Strikes Continue Against ISIS Cities and Villages in Syria, Iraq

SOUTHWEST ASIA, May 15, 2017 —

U.S. and coalition military forces continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria yesterday, conducting 23 strikes consisting of 84 engagements, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Officials reported details of yesterday’s strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.

Strikes in Syria

In Syria, coalition military forces conducted 17 strikes consisting of 20 engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, two strikes destroyed an ISIS pump jack and an ISIS wellhead.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, five strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed three ISIS fuel trucks, two ISIS wellheads, and an ISIS pump jack.

-- Near Raqqa, nine strikes engaged seven ISIS tactical units and destroyed three vehicles, two fighting positions and an artillery system.

-- Near Tabqah, a strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed a fighting position.

In Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 11 strikes consisting of 66 engagements against ISIS targets:

Strikes in Iraq

In Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 10 strikes consisting of 61 engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Huwayjah, a strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit; destroyed a heavy machine gun, a fighting position and damaged an ISIS supply route.

-- Near Rutbah, a strike destroyed a bunker.

-- Near Mosul, six strikes engaged six ISIS tactical units and a sniper; destroyed seven mortar systems, five fighting positions, three vehicle bombs, two supply caches, two vehicles, and a command-and-control node; damaged 18 ISIS supply routes, a fighting position, a tunnel; and suppressed four mortar teams and four ISIS tactical units.

-- Near Rawah, two strikes destroyed three vehicle bombs, an ISIS staging area and a weapons cache.

Additionally, four strikes were conducted in Syria on May 8 that closed within the last 24 hours:

-- Near Tabqah, four strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit; destroyed a fighting position and a mortar system; and damaged an ISIS supply route.
