The war in Yemen is fought internally by the forces of the elected President, Hadi, and the allied Houthi-Salih forces. The Hadi forces are supported by the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces, which are also supported by the United States. The Houthi-Salih forces are supported by Iran, which is also supported by Russia.

Thus the war in Yemen has its internal, regional, and global rivals, who are interested in keeping it going on for their own benefits (of course, no body cares about the dispensable, cannon-fodder Yemenis).

The larger context for understanding the Yemeni war (and other wars in Syria and Iraq) is that it contributes to the implementation of the Zionist-Israeli plan of destroying the Arab Middle Eastern states in preparation for the establishment of the greater Israeli empire, from the Nile of Egypt to the Euphrates of Iraq.

Masdar online, July 10, 2017 التحالف اليمني يوثّق مقتل 180 مدنياً وإصابة 205 برصاص الحوثيين الشهر الماضي المصدر أونلاين - صنعاء الإثنين 10 يوليو 2017 05:23:25 مساءً قال التحالف اليمني لرصد انتهاكات حقوق الانسان اليوم الاثنين، إنه وثّق مقتل 180 مدنياً وإصابة 205 آخرين، برصاص مسلحي جماعة الحوثيين وقوات صالح، خلال شهر يونيو الماضي.   وأضاف في بيان صحفي وزعه على وسائل الإعلام، إن «917 حالة انتهاك ارتكبتها الميليشيا خلال شهر يونيو الماضي، وإنه تم توثيق 236 حالة اختطاف، و33 حالة اخفاء قسري».   وتابع إنه وثّق 8 حالات تعذيب، و10 حالات تجنيد للأطفال، 2 منها في محافظة الحديدة (غرب اليمن) و5 في ذمار (وسط) و3 في عمران (شمال).   وذكر إن الانتهاكات التي ارتكبها الحوثيون، ضد المنشآت الخاصة بلغت 217 انتهاكاً في 15 محافظة.   وتمثلت تلك الانتهاكات في الاعتداء على 148 مبنى، وتركزت في محافظة تعز (جنوب غرب) التي بلغت 20 منشأة، وكان النصيب الأكبر لمنازل المواطنين حيث تضرر 96 منزلاً بين جزئي وكلي.   وأشار البيان إلى أن الممتلكات العامة في محافظة ذمار نالت النصيب الأكبر من الانتهاكات، حيث بلغت 17 انتهاكاً تليها محافظة صنعاء 16 انتهاكاً، وتركزت أبرزها في المساجد ودور العبادة حيث بلغت 30 انتهاكاً. البوارج الحربية للتحالف تستهدف بـ 25 صاروخ مواقع للحوثيين وقوات صالح غربي تعز المصدر أونلاين - خاص الأحد 9 يوليو 2017 01:44:16 صباحًا كثفت مقاتلات وبوارج التحالف العربي خلال الساعات الماضية قصفها الصاروخي على مواقع لمليشيات الحوثي وصالح في مديرية موزع غرب تعز والصلو جنوبي المحافظة.   وقال مصدر عسكري لـ"المصدر أونلاين" إن بوراج التحالف العربي قصفت بـ 25 صاروخ حتى اللحظة مواقع الحوثيين وقوات صالح في منطقة الهاملي ومعسكر خالد ومركز مديرية موزع غربي تعز.   واضاف المصدر ان القصف أسفر عن مقتل 13 حوثيا ومن قوات صالح وإصابة 17 آخرين، بينهم قيادات طالهم القصف بمواقع شرق معسكر خالد، وتدمير خمس عربات عسكرية "اطقم" ومدرعة، ومخزنا للأسلحة، بحسب المصدر.   من جهة أخرى، شنت مقاتلات التحالف صباح اليوم ثلاث غارات على مواقع المليشيات الإنقلابية شمال مديرية الصلو جنوبي تعز، وأدت الغارات إلى مقتل 3 وإصابة 7 آخرين. مصدر: 6 قتلى حوثيين وجندي من القوات الحكومية بمعارك بين الجانبين في مقبنة بتعز المصدر أونلاين - خاص الإثنين 10 يوليو 2017 05:36:17 مساءً قال مصدر عسكري إن 6 من مسلحي جماعة الحوثيين وحلفاءهم من قوات صالح قُتلوا، وأُصيب 5 آخرين، بمعارك ضد القوات الحكومية، في مقبنة غرب مدينة تعز (جنوب غرب اليمن)، اليوم الاثنين.   وأفاد المصدر «المصدر أونلاين»، إن جندياً في القوات الحكومية قُتل، خلال المعارك التي تجددت في مديرية مقبنة، إثر هجوم شنته القوات الحكومية على مواقع الحوثيين صباح اليوم.   ولم يورد المصدر تفاصيل أكثر عن الهجوم.   وكانت مقاتلات التحالف العربي بقيادة السعودية قد شنت غارات مكثفة على مواقع الحوثيين في مقبنة والبرح، والخميس الماضي قتل قائد رفيع في قوات الحرس الجمهوري الموالية لصالح.

 

Houthi casualties in coalition airstrike west of al-Jawf – source

A military source in the province of al-Jawf, northeast of Yemen, said on Sunday that a number of militants of the Houthis-Saleh forces were killed and injured in an aerial bombardment launched by the aircrafts of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in al Motun district of al-Jawf.
 
The source told Almasdaronline that the air raids had bombed at dawn on Sunday a gathering of the Houthi militants at al Waresh farm in al Motun, west of the province.
 
He pointed out that ambulances rushed to the site to aid the victims.
 
It is noteworthy that almost daily battles are raging in al Motun between the Houthis-Saleh forces and the government forces, backed by the Arab Coalition air force.

Al-Khalwa village residents forcibly displaced by the Houthis-Saleh forces – source

The Houthi  militants and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have driven dozens of civilians out of their homes in the villages of Jabal Habshi district, west of Taiz province, southwest of Yemen, a local source said.
 
The source told Almasdaronline that dozens of civilians were displaced on Sunday from their homes in village of Jabal Habashi, after the Houthis and allied forces have surrounded the village and the snipers targeted the people and their livestock.
 
The displacement of al-Khalwa village inhabitants comes few months after the displacement of dozens of families from the villages of al-Wafi and Tbhshih area, following the siege imposed on their villages by the Houthis.
 
Meanwhile, the 13 year-old Taysir Mohammed Dahwah, resident of al-Sayahi village in the al-Dhabab area, southwest of Taiz, after being targeted by a Houthi sniper from al-Rabaie area.
 
Over the past few days, the Huthis have intensified their sniping operations against civilians, north of Jabal Habshi and west of al-Tazziyah, wounding six women.

A number of militants of the Houthis-Saleh forces were killed and injured in an aerial bombardment launched by the aircrafts of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Serwah distrit of Marib city, east of the capital Sanaa, a government forces source said Sunday.
 
The source told Almasdaronline that the air raids had bombed two military vehicles carrying Houthi militants’ reinforcement in al Rawabi area northwest of Serwah.
 
Since last week, fierce fighting has been raging between the Houthis-Saleh forces and the government forces, backed by the coalition aircrafts, and the latter has achieved significant military gains.

A civilian killed, a second house bombed by Houthis in al-Bayda

ALMASDARONLINE, 2017-07-02

A civilian person was shot dead by militants of the Houthi group on Friday evening in Dhi Naim district as he was driving on the main road in al-Bayda province in central Yemen.
 
According to Almasdaronline reporter, a civilian person of Hadi Yafea was on his way to his area, driving on the main road in Dhi Naim, and was shot dead by a Houthi sniper when he stopped to repair his car.
 
The Houthi gunmen stationing at high positions on the mountains continued to shoot at everyone who tried to reach the place to take the dead body. According to Almasdaronline reporter.
 
On the other hand, the Houthi gunmen also bombed the house of Ali Mohammed Masoud al-Humeikani in al-Khalwa area of al-Zaher district in al-Bayda.
 
Local sources told Almasdaronline that that a number of neighboring houses were severely damaged, and four of which were partially destroyed.
 
“This is the second house bombed by the Houthis-Saleh forces in the area in less than a week, after bombing the house of Abdullah Mohammed Balsan al-Humeikani, the second day of Eid al-Fitr”.

Two children killed by Houthis-Saleh forces in Taiz- source

Two children were killed in two separate incidents Friday by militants of the Houthi group and former president Saleh's forces in Taiz province in southwestern Yemen.
 
A local source told Almasdaronline that Ahmed Salah al-Baadani, 12, was killed while inspecting their house in the Kalaba neighborhood east of Taiz by a Houthi sniper from the Central Security Forces camp.
 
In another incident, Alaa Ali Mohammed Ghanem, 7, was killed Friday morning after being run over by a military vehicle of the Houthis-Saleh militants in al Hadara Hanna village of al-Wazaiya district, west of Taiz.
 
It is noteworthy that dozens of children have been killed over the past two years by snipers gunfire and shelling of the Houthis-Saleh militants in Taiz.

The Saudi Military Center of Aljamaim Bombed and a Mechanism Burnt in Jizan

In a response to the Saudi-led coalition ,the Yemeni joint forces blew up the center of the Saudi military of Aljamaim and burnt a mechanism left by the Saudi soldiers behind  and fled in Jizan.

The source confirmed the death and wounding of a number of Saudi soldiers in the operation and the engineering unit blew up the fortifications of the entire site.

This came before less than 24 hours after a similar operation carried out by the joint Yemeni forces, which broke through the Dabaa military site in Najran, which resulted in the death and wounding of a number of Saudi soldiers

In a response to the Saudi-led coalition air strikes , as a result fo a quality operation carried out by the Yemeni joint forces, Sunday, in the province of Al-Jawf , they tightly controlled a strategic mountain and a number of tributaries in the province of AL-Jawf.

A military source reported that units of the Yemeni joint forces carried out a large-scale military operation during which they attacked the paid fighters in the strategic Anbarah mountain in the Ham area and tightened their control over it.

The source confirmed that units of the Yemeni joint forces  were able to blow up two military vehicles loaded with the paid fighters ,seized various weapons and inflicted heavy losses on the ranks of the paid fighters during the clearing of the mountain and the nearby areas.

This comes in the context of ongoing military operations carried out by the forces in the province of Al-Jawf and during the past two days , they were  able to cleanse eleven sites and one of the hills in the Directorate of Khob AL-Shaf and the Directorate of Maton.

Saudi Airstrikes Hit Yemeni Governorates on the 9th of July

The US-backed Saudi-led coalition continued its violent air raids against various Yemeni governorates despite the accusations of breaching humanitarian law and causing a catastrophic situation in the country.

To start with central Yemen, Taiz governorate, the warplanes waged three airstrikes on Salu district, in addition to the coalition’s warships hitting a number of areas in Mawza’a district using more than twenty missiles.

Going to Jawf governorate, a total of four air raids bombarded Al-Qhayl district.

Heading to Saada governorate bordering Saudi Arabia, which was previously declared a “military target” by the coalition regardless of the high population, one airstrike targeted Al-Baqa area while another two air raids aimed at a house in Baqm district.

In Hajjah governorate, fighter jets launched three airstrikes on the districts of Haradh and Medi.

Concluding it with Sana’a governorate, an air raid targeted Nehm district.

Saudi Bombs Rocked Yemeni Governorates During Past 24 Hours

The Saudi-led coalition waged airstrikes during that past 24 hours that rocked Yemeni governorates all over Yemen.

In Shabwah governorate, the Saudi warplanes waged two air raids on Asylan district.

Going to Jawf governorate, one airstrike struck Al-Matoun district.

Heading to the province bordering Saudi Arabia, sound bombs were used by the coalition, in addition to missile and artillery attacks conducted by Saudi forces and their paid militia on different regions in Razih district.

In Hajjah governorate, a total of four airstrikes rocked the two districts of Haridh and Medi.

Going closer to the Yemeni capital, the Saudi-led coalition hit the district of Harf Sufyan using at least six air raids.

In Sana’a governorate, the fighter jets attacked Nehm district with two air raids.

Concluding it with Marib, one Saudi American airstrike bombarded Serwah district.

Yemeni Army hits Saudi soldiers in Asir, Najran

Almotamar Net - Artillery of the army and popular forces hit gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Asir, Najran provinces, a military official said on Wednesday.

The shelling hit the gatherings in Al Dhabah military site in Asir.

Meanwhile, the national forces killed a Saudi soldiers in al Nashmah military sites of Al Rabu'eh area.

Moreover, the artillery of the army and popular forces shelled other groups in military sites in wstern Al Makhrawqa and behind Al Sudis and Raqabat Al Hamer in Najran, the official added.

Yemeni army attacked Arab coalition forces with a Zilzal missile east of Al-Mokha, Taiz Province. It also attacked them with artillery in the Medi desert,  causing casualties and destruction of equipment.

وأوضح مصدر عسكري أن القوة الصاروخية استهدفت بصاروخ زلزال 2 تجمع لقوى الغزو والمرتزقة شرق المخا محققا إصابات مباشرة.

وأكد المصدر أن الصاروخ أصاب هدفه مخلفا خسائر في صفوف العدو وعتاده العسكري.

وأشار المصدر إلى ان طيران العدوان السعودي شن ثلاث غارات على مديريتي حرض وميدي.
