11 civilians have been killed in an air strike by Saudi-led coalition on their house on Saturday in a countryside of Yemen’s Taiz city. Said local sources.
 
The air strike hit the residential house of Abdullah Abdu killing him and all his family other 10 members including 7 women in Al-Sharaf village of Al-selw area southern Taiz. The sources added.  
 
 No further details have been reported over the incident nor any comment from Saudi-led coalition or Yemen’s internationally recognized government.
 
Hundreds of Yemeni civilians have been killed and injured by air strikes of Saudi-led coalition in Yemen for almost two years. 

18 Houthi gunmen killed in fierce fighting eastern Yemen’s capital

18 fighters from forces of Houthi armed group and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed on Wednesday in fierce fighting with Yemen’s national army backed by popular resistance fighters eastern Yemen’s capital Sana’a. Said Spokesperson of Popular Resistance on Thursday.
 
Abdullah Al-Shandaqi Spokesperson of Popular Resistance in Sana’a’s Nihm district confirmed in his Facebook page that 18 from forces of Houthi-Saleh have been killed while 4 from national army and popular resistance have been killed and 7 others injured in clashes in Nihm eastern Sana’a.
 
The statement pointed out that forces of internationally government made military gains and retook areas of Al-Nafaha and Jerf mountains in addition to a chain of hills.  

4 Houthi gunmen killed in fighting with resistance fighters in Al-Dhali'

4 fighters from Houthi armed group and forces of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed on Thursday in fighting with Yemen’s national army backed by popular resistance fighters in Hamac area northern Al-Dhali' province south Yemen. Said a military source to Al-Masdaronline.
 
Government forces of internationally recognized Yemen’s president Abdu Rabu Masnoor backed by popular resistance have fended off several offensives made by forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance in the area.
 
Clashes broke out between the two parties in Hamac area of Al-Dhalea when the forces of Houthi-Saleh waged an offensive against government forces and popular resistance fighters today. The source added.
 
Houthi forces in collaboration with allied forces of Yemen’s former president Saleh have triggered a war when they overthrew the legitimate government and controlled the Yemeni capital forcing the Yemeni president and government into exile in 2014.

8 Houthi gunmen killed in fighting with popular resistance southern Yemen’s Taiz

8 fighters from forces of Houthi armed group and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed on Wednesday in fighting with popular resistance fighters and national army in southern battlefronts of Yemen’s Taiz city. A source at popular resistance said.
 
The source told Al-Masdaronline that resistance fighters backed by national army have fended off an offensive by forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance on Bidar Mazal of Sabir district southern Taiz.
 
 The source confirmed that 11 others of Houthi-Saleh forces have been injured while a soldier has been killed and 4 others injured from anti-Houthi forces.
 
A civilian has been killed and two others injured by Houthis’s shelling on the city. Said daily statistics by popular resistance media center in Taiz on Wednesday.
 
Taiz has been witnessing a now and then re-eruption of fierce clashes between Houthi-Saleh’ forces and popular resistance fighters backed by pro-government forces in different parts of the city.

Six civilians were martyred after the Saudi aggression warplanes struck a citizen's farm in the northern province of Saada, a security official said on Monday.

U.S. Strike in Yemen Kills 5, Centcom Officials Say

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 26, 2016 —

An Oct. 21 U.S. strike in Yemen killed five members of the al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula terrorist organization, U.S. Central Command officials announced today.

The strike took place in a remote area of Yemen’s Marib governorate, officials said.

"Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula remains a significant threat to the region and to the United States," said Army Maj. Josh T. Jacques, a Centcom spokesman. "Al-Qaida's presence has a destabilizing effect on Yemen, and we are working to deny them a haven from which to plan future attacks."

The State Department officially designated al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula as a foreign terrorist organization in January 2010. The Yemen-based group has claimed responsibility for numerous terrorist acts since its inception in 2009.

Air strike kills 17 in Yemen, exiled president rejects peace plan

SANAA, Yemen --

At least 17 civilians were killed in Yemen's southwestern province of Taiz on Saturday by a Saudi-led coalition air strike that struck a house, local officials and residents said.

The raid targeted a house in the al-Salw district, the sources said, an area of Taiz where Houthi rebels and government forces backed by the coalition are fighting for control. Taiz is Yemen's third largest city with an estimated pre-war population of 300,000.

The Saudi-led coalition has been fighting Houthi rebels and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, who hold much of the north of Yemen including the capital Sanaa, since March 2015 to try to restore the internationally recognized President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to power.

The exiled Hadi on Saturday rejected a U.N. peace proposal to end the turmoil saying the deal would only be a path to more war and destruction.

Speaking after meeting U.N. envoy Ismail Ould Cheickh Ahmed in Riyadh, Hadi said the agreement would "reward the rebels and penalize the Yemeni people and legitimacy," according to the government-controlled Saba news agency.

According to a copy of the proposal seen by Reuters, the plan would sideline Hadi and set up a government of less divisive figures.

The deal would involve removing Hadi's powerful vice president, Ali Mushin al-Ahmar Ahmar from power and Hadi agreeing to become little more than a figurehead after a Houthi withdrawal from the capital Sanaa.

Hadi fled the armed advance of the Iranian-allied Houthi movement in March 2015 and has been a guest of neighboring Saudi Arabia ever since.

A U.N. Security Council resolution a month later recognized him as the legitimate head of state and called on the Houthis to disarm and quit Yemen's main cities. But the Houthis and their allies in Yemen's army have said he will never return.

The conflict in Yemen has killed at least 10,000 people and unleashed one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
