Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kill A Palestinian Man Near Nablus

Trigger-happy Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed, on Sunday evening, a Palestinian man near Huwwara military roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, inside his car.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired many live rounds fired at the Palestinian after dragging him out of his car, while the army claimed “he ran toward the soldiers.”

Israeli media agencies repeated the exact military statement claiming that the man ran towards the soldiers while carrying a knife, before they shot him dead.

After shooting the Palestinian, identified as Rami Awartani, 31, the soldiers prevented Palestinian ambulances from entering the area, and refused to allow the medics to approach him to provide the urgently needed medical treatment.

The Palestinian bled to death, while the soldiers closed the entire area, and declared it a closed military zone.

The army took the body of Awartani to an unknown destination.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired several live rounds at the Palestinian’s chest, while he was in his car, in contrary to the military claims.

Nablus Live news agency quoted eyewitnesses stating that the soldiers also forced the Palestinian out of his car, and shot him from a close range.

Awartani was a father of several children and owned his hairstyle shop in Nablus.

The Israeli Occupation Army Kidnaps 16 Palestinians In Doura, 3 in Sa’ir and 1 In Surif, In The Hebron District

Updated: Dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the towns of Doura and Surif, south of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, stormed and violently searched dozens of homes, before kidnapping 16 Palestinians in Doura, three in Sa’ir and one in Surif.

The soldiers surrounded the al-Koum, Kharsa and Sinjer areas, in Doura, conducted extensive and violent searched of homes, causing damage, and kidnapped fourteen Palestinians.

The kidnapped Palestinians from Doura have been identified as Hasan Jabara al-Faqeeh, Mohammad Ismael al-Faqeeh, Haitham Ismael Talahma, Ayed Ahmad al-Faqeeh, his sons Firas and Mohammad, Bader and his brother Eyad Ziad Abu Ehlayyel, (both were injured), Ashraf Naji Amro, Ahmad Abdul-Majid Amayra, Anas Abdul-Majid Shadeed, Ahmad Azmi Tbeish, Khaled Ali Suleiman Tbeish, Anas Ibrahim Shadeed, Mofeed Mousa Shadeed, Shaer Abdul-Majid Barweesh and his from Majed.

It is worth mentioning that Hasan Jabara al-Faqeeh is the brother of Mohammad al-Faqeeh, 27, who was shot dead by the Israeli army on July 27th, after the soldiers fired missiles into a home and bulldozed it.

Al-Faqeeh family members were released a few hours after their abduction, the al-Huriya Media network in Hebron has reported.

In Sa’ir town, the soldiers kidnapped Dia’ Tarayra, Ra’ad Tarwa and Mosab Ezzat Shalalda.

The soldiers interrogated many Palestinians, including women and children, while searching their homes, and took the kidnapped residents to Etzion military base.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Surif town, searched a few homes and kidnapped one Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Ibrahim al-Hoor.

Dozens of soldiers were also deployed around the Ibrahimi mosque and several nearby homes in Hebron city.

On Monday morning, the soldiers invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, shot and injured three Palestinians, and kidnapped two others.

Israeli occupation soldiers kidnap two Palestinian children In Jerusalem

Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped, on Sunday evening, two Palestinian children in occupied East Jerusalem, and took them to an interrogation facility.

Local sources said the two children have been identified as Nasr Abu Khdeir and Mohammad Abu Khdeir.

The Israeli army claimed the two participated in throwing stones at soldiers and the light rail in the occupied city.

The Israeli Occupation Army Kidnaps Two Palestinians In Nablus, Two In Jenin And One In Jerusalem

Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped, Monday, five Palestinians in the West Bank districts of Nablus, Jenin, and Jerusalem, and claimed to locate gas bombs, homemade guns, magazines and a workshop for manufacturing weapons. At least 29 Palestinians were kidnapped from various parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation army said it found gas bombs, two magazines, and a homemade pistol during searches in Barta’a town, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin.

The soldiers also kidnapped two Palestinians identified as Kamal Abed Qabaha and Sufian Abdul-Latif Mer’ey.

Furthermore, the soldiers, and senior security officers, invaded Qalqilia city, in the northern part of the West Bank, invaded three workshops, and confiscated lathe machines reportedly used for manufacturing homemade weapons.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the northern West Bank district of Nablus and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Mahyoub Qanaze’, and the chief of security of the Najah National University in Nablus, Tal’at Sayel.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers searched a few homes and kidnapped one Palestinian identified as Taha Abu Khdeir.

Also on Tuesday, the army Kidnapped 16 Palestinians In Doura, 3 in Sa’ir and 1 In Surif, In the Hebron District, in the southern part of the West Bank.

In related news, undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated into the Deheishe refugee camp, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, shot and injured three Palestinians, kidnapped two others, and two in Teqoua’ town.

The Israeli occupation army said 21 of the kidnapped Palestinians are involved in hurling stones, empty bottles and Molotov cocktails on military vehicles.

Two young men kidnapped, four wounded in Deheisha refugee town

Two Palestinian young men were taken prisoners and four others suffered bullet injuries on Monday morning after Israeli troops stormed al-Deheish refugee town, south of Bethlehem.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a unit of Israeli special troops entered the camp at about six o'clock in the morning aboard a large civilian vehicle with Palestinian license plates and kidnapped two young men from their homes.

The two detainees were identified as Yazan Hijazi and Mustafa al-Hasanat.

Immediately following these arrests, military reinforcements rushed to the camp and clashed with local young men, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the invading troops. One soldier was reportedly injured when a stone hit his face.

Homemade explosive devices were also detonated during the events, which caused a state of confusion and panic among the soldiers and prompted them to withdraw from the camp.

Consequently, four young men suffered live bullet injuries and were taken to a hospital in Beit Jala.

Meanwhile, another Israeli military force stormed Hindaza village and Taqua town east of Bethlehem and kidnapped 17-year-old Abdullah Yousef and Mustafa Taleb from al-Badan family.

Massive fire damages al-Jazzar Mosque in 'Akka

Massive fire broke out in Muslims’ al-Jazzar Mosque in Akka city, in 1948 Occupied Palestine (part of the Arab State of Palestine, according to the 1947 UN Partition Resolution).

According to eyewitness accounts, the fire burst out in women’s place of worship, in the western corners of the mosque.

Palestinian locals rushed to the scene to put out the fires before fire crews showed up at the scene and extinguished it after one hour’s time.

A Muslim worshiper reportedly choked on fumes in the process.

The Israeli police claimed that preliminary probes attributed the fire to an electric breakdown in women’s place of worship, denying any criminal basis to the fires.

The al-Jazzar Mosque, also known as the White Mosque, is located on al-Jazzar Street inside the walls of the old city of Akka (Acre) overlooking the eastern Mediterranean Sea, and is named after the Ottoman governor Ahmad Pasha al-Jazzar.

Jordan urges Israel to cease attacks on Aqsa guards

Jordan called on the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) to cease its escalatory measures against supervision personnel at the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jordanian Religious Affairs Minister Wael Arabiyat condemned Israel’s intervention in the affairs of the Islamic Awqaf department and reconstruction works at the al-Aqsa Mosque.

He dubbed Israel’s interference a violation of humanitarian and international laws, particularly the resolutions of the UN and the UNESCO.

Recently, five members of the al-Aqsa supervision staff were arrested and interrogated by the Israeli occupation police before they were sentenced to arbitrary bans from the al-Aqsa Mosque and to steep fines.

Jordan called on the IOA to backtrack on such oppressive measures, respect the sanctity of the al-Aqsa Mosque, and cease break-ins at the site.

Arabiyat hailed the determination of the Muslim guards at al-Aqsa and their willingness to defend its Islamic idiosyncrasy.  

1,059 Israelis stormed Muslims’ Aqsa Mosque in July

August, 1, 2016, OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- 1,059 Israelis stormed Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque during July, Q-Press center reported.

According to data by Q-Press Center, the Israeli occupation settlers and officers stepped up sacrilegious assaults on the al-Aqsa Mosque and attacks on the supervision staff during the second half of July.

The center warned of a projected escalation in such Israeli assaults on August 14 on the occasion of the so-called destruction of the Temple Mount.

874 Israeli settlers, 127 intelligence officers, and 49 Jewish learners stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque in July.

The largest break-in was carried out on July 12 as 313 settlers forcibly entered the Mosque. On July 27, 96 Israeli intelligence officers broke into the holy Islamic site.

During the last week of July, eight members of the al-Aqsa supervision personnel were subjected to arbitrary abductions and exhaustive questioning. A series of bans ranging from two weeks to six months were also issued against the supervision personnel at al-Aqsa.

47 Palestinians were arrested in Occupied Jerusalem since the start of July until July 9. Most of the arrestees were sentenced to arbitrary bans from Occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa.

Israeli Occupation government forces Palestinian to raze his own home in east Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation government (IOG) on Sunday forced a Jerusalemite citizen to demolish his house with his own hands in al-Thawri neighborhood of Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.

Homeowner Walid Shuwaiki said he found himself forced to demolish his own home in order to avoid paying the demolition expenses, which exceeds 100,000 shekels, to have been imposed on him had he not done so.

Shuwaiki noted that the Israeli municipality had already handed him a demolition notice for his 40-square-meter house, which was built two years ago, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

He affirmed that the IOG put him in a very difficult situation when it forced him to destroy the house with his own hands, but he said that "this was better than feeding the occupation's coffers with money in exchange for the displacement of his family."

He said that this Israeli measure dispersed his family and made him and his pregnant wife live separately in relatives' homes until they could find another place to live in.

Since the beginning of the current year, the IOG has demolished more than 85 Palestinian homes and commercial structures and delivered notices for the demolition of another 20,000 homes in Occupied Jerusalem.

While the Palestinian population in the holy city has quadrupled to over 300,000 since 1967, Israel's municipal authorities have only zoned nine percent of east Jerusalem land for Palestinian construction; however, even with this space being set aside, permits are rarely granted, and the result is widespread unlicensed Palestinian construction, which, of course, the IOA will order to be razed.

Tens of thousands of Jerusalem’s Palestinian residents now live under the constant threat of having their homes demolished by the IOA, part of a systematic Israeli ethnic cleansing policy that has been taking place in the city since it became under occupation.

IOF raids towns, sets up roadblocks south of Jenin

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening raided al-Jadida and Siris towns south of Jenin and set up roadblocks.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a large number of Israeli troops stormed al-Jadida town and embarked on questioning citizens, especially the young men, with no known reason.

The sources added that the invading troops also established a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance to the town and intercepted passing vehicles and citizens for search.

The IOF also raided the nearby town of Siris and erected barriers on a road between the two towns.

No citizen was reportedly arrested during the IOF campaign in these towns.

IOF abuses, injures Palestinian young man in al-Khalil

The 22-year-old Palestinian Ramzi al-Khalil on Sunday was subjected to severe beating at the hands of Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) who attacked him in Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil and left him injured with bruises all over his body.

Local sources revealed that the IOF soldiers stopped the car of the young man and assaulted him. When he tried to escape they chased him to the central market before they caught him and hit him again then got him chained and put in a military vehicle, the sources added. 

The sources reported that he was released after inhabitants of the town pressured the Israeli troops who tried to intimidate people by shooting in the air.

Seven Palestinians injured in clashes in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem

August, 1, 2016, OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)--

Seven Palestinians were injured by Israeli shooting while others choked on tear gas during clashes that erupted in 8 locations in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem between Israeli occupation forces and Palestinians on Saturday. 

A field report issued by Hamas Movement on Sunday documented that the confrontations broke out in al-Isawiya, Silwan and Hazma towns in Occupied Jerusalem as well as in Beit Awwa town in al-Khalil, Silwad in Ramallah, Dar Salah in Bethlehem, and in Jenin City and its refugee camp.
