IOF kills four Palestinian young men in renewed violent campaigns in West Bank

WEST BANK, (PIC)--

Three Palestinian young men were shot dead yesterday evening and at dawn Sunday by Israeli soldiers in the Jordan Valley, Nablus and Ramallah.

19-year-old Saker Burhan was killed immediately after an Israeli soldier shot him in his chest, according to eyewitnesses.

Burhan was herding sheep in Al-Maleh area of the Jordan Valley when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him.

Medical sources said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) refused to hand over the body of the boy to Red Crescent paramedics.

In Nablus city, the IOF killed a young man during a campaign in Al-Ein refugee camp.

Local sources in Nablus reported that 36-year-old Ahmed Fahmawi was showered with bullets by Israeli soldiers as he was walking to a mosque in the camp to perform dawn prayers.

They added that the invading troops barred Palestinian paramedics from reaching the young man to help him and left him on the ground bleeding to death.

The Israeli occupation army justified the killing of the young man by saying that he neared its soldiers in a threatening way and did not hear them shout at him to stop.

In central Ramallah, another 30-year-old young man identified as Mahmoud Atallah was found killed at dawn today by Israeli bullets on the rooftop of a commercial building near another building topped by Israeli snipers.

Elderly man dead in Israeli campaign in Salfit

SALFIT, (PIC)--

60-year-old Jamil Ali Souf died of a heart attack on Saturday while trying to prevent Israeli soldiers from ransacking his home by force in Salfit.

Local sources told the PIC that the elderly man died in a hospital after he suffered a heart attack while clashing with Israeli soldiers in his house.

The sources added that two brothers were moderately injured after being brutally attacked by Israeli soldiers. They were transferred to hospital in the city for treatment.

Following the violent raid, violent clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli forces who fired tear gas grenades.

At least seven Palestinians suffered breathing difficulties after inhaling teas gas.

In the same context, the Hamas movement mourned the death of Jamil Souf who died during the violent raid on his house in Salfit.

In a press release, Hamas said that the death of Jamil Souf proves Israel's brutality and the state of hysteria that its security apparatuses has been living in since the disappearance of three Jewish settlers in the West Bank.

Jamal Souf is a former mosque preacher and a father of a liberated prisoner.
The statement stressed the importance of resistance as the sole option to curb Israel's violations, liberate the prisoners, and restore the usurped holy sites.

Scores of Palestinians detained and injured in Israeli rampage in West Bank

OCCUPIED WEST BANK, (PIC)-- 

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday and Sunday continued its military operations in the occupied West Bank, which started after the disappearance of three Jewish settlers.

Local sources in Jenin told the PIC that Palestinian civilians were treated for breathing problems as they inhaled tear gas in clashes with Israeli troops in Jenin and its refugee camp. Heavy gunfire and raids on Palestinian homes were reported.

Violent clashes also erupted when Israeli patrols invaded the towns of Qabatiya, Silat al-Harithiya, al-Yamoun at dawn Sunday.

Palestinian homes were ransacked while dozens of Palestinian citizens were kidnapped, including five young men from Silat al-Harithiya and Qabatiya.

Israeli soldiers stormed Jalqamus village, southeast of Jenin, and raided cattle storehouse and several homes. The troops interrogated some residents during its campaign in the village.

In another incident, the IOF rounded up Souhaib Al-Asaa, a reporter working for al-Aqsa satellite channel in Bethlehem, after raiding his home and other ones belonging to his father and brother in al-Obeidiya village, north of Bethlehem.

The invading troops ransacked the houses, ravaged their contents and appropriated cell phones and laptops. Souhaib’s cousin, Ahmed Mustafa, was arrested in the assault.

Office director of al-Aqsa TV in the West Bank Aziz Kaied has been held in custody since last Tuesday and the TV headquarters have been shut down since last Friday.

In Nablus, the IOF broke into and ransacked at dawn Monday dozens of Palestinian homes in Nablus and its adjacent villages and refugee camps.

The Israeli soldiers broke into Yaish and Zahrat al-Madaen apartments in Oman and Blibous streets and stormed the house of Journalist Jebril Thabet .
 
The IOF assaulted several homes at Al-Ein refugee camp and the nearby Sekka Street and turned many of them into control points. Violent clashes have erupted in Osira and near the Kendi school.

The IOF invaded other homes in Zawata town and Balata refugee camp, including the house of hunger striking detainee Anas Joud Allah, martyr Hani al-Kaabi, and Khaled Khadish.

A tight security cordon was imposed in Madama, south of Nablus, by the Israeli patrols.

PIC reporter quoted bystanders at the scene as stating that dozens of Israeli infantry troops invaded the homes of Palestinian citizens Nizar Zyada and hold sway of his PCs and a money.

All of the family members were locked up in one room during the search operation. The Israeli soldiers ruined the home’s properties and dug the walls with heavy metal apparatuses.

IOF raids on al-Khalil culminated in the kidnap of ex-detainee Abd Allah D’is and another Palestinian citizen. The Israeli soldiers broke into Palestinian homes in different areas of al-Khalil and blew up the gates of several stores, PIC reporter has been told by eyewitnesses.

The Israeli soldiers invaded the Palestine Polytechnic University in al-Khalil and dozens of Palestinian homes in Wadi al-Hirya.

Violent clashes broke out in Dura and Krissa regions following an Israeli raid launched under shield of dozens of military vehicles. Heavy firing of tear gas canisters and rubber bullets on Palestinian citizens followed.

The IOF broke into the house of MP Muhamad Abu Jheisha and confiscated its surveillance cameras along with those of other adjacent homes and stores in a raid extending all along the street between Dura and Ithna towns, Local sources further reported.

GAZA, (PIC)--

The Israeli occupation army at dawn Sunday launched anew four aerial attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, with no reported casualties.

Local sources told the Palestinian information center (PIC) that Israeli warplanes bombed two resistance sites belonging to Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas to the southwest of Deir Al-Balah and to the east of Khan Younis.

Two other air raids targeted a resistance site belonging to Al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad to the southwest of Khan Younis and another site to the north of Rafah in Gaza.

The sources said that three airstrikes occurred before dawn prayers and another one happened as Gazans were heading to mosques for dawn prayers.

The aerial aggression caused widespread panic among the population in Gaza.

6 Palestinian children killed by IOF since beginning of 2014

Six Palestinian children have been killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) since the beginning of 2014, the latest one was 15-year-old Mohamad Doudin, who received a bullet in his chest in an Israeli campaign in Khalil last Friday.

Defense for Children International (DCI) quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the incident happened when clashes broke out between young men in Dura town and Israeli troops who raided and ransacked several homes.

The invading troops showered the angry young men with tear gas and stun grenades, and fired rubber and live bullets at them as well.

Doudin was about 80 meters away when an Israeli soldier open fire at him during the events.

DCI has always kept records of unconditional impunity for the Israeli soldiers, who have either injured Palestinian children or shot them dead.

Security expert: Israel has yet to find any lead to missing settlers

GAZA, (PIC)--

Palestinian security expert Mahmoud al-Ajrami stated that Israel's army and security agencies failed so far to get any information that might reveal the fate of the three missing settlers after ten days of their disappearance.

Al-Ajrami told the PIC that Israeli senior military officials’ statements reflected Israel's failure to know the circumstances of the incident.

Despite its security coordination with the Palestinian authority security forces, Israel failed to find the three missing soldiers who were kidnapped in the most fortified settlement, he pointed out.

The difficult geographical features in some areas in occupied West Bank would complicate the mission for Israeli forces, despite Israeli allegations of foiling 25 previous attempts to kidnap Israeli soldiers, al-Ajrami said.

If the kidnap operation was carried out by the Palestinian resistance, it means that a new breach occurred in Israel's security system.
