135 Palestinians Killed, 1000 Injured by Israeli War-Criminal Air Strikes on Gaza, as of July 12, 2014

Arabic TV stations reported that, as of July 12, 2014, 1:00 pm ET, the number of Palestinians who were killed by Israeli war-criminal air strikes on Gaza Strip reached 135, in addition to more than 1,000 injuries.

The vast majority (about 87%) of these Palestinian victims of Israeli brutality were civilians who were killed or injured as a result destroying their homes by Israeli missiles.

 

Saturday morning: Israeli airstrikes target mosques, center for disabled youth, killing 14

Airstrikes continue; Israeli occupation government officials say ground invasion imminent.

Two young, disabled girls were killed on Saturday in an Israeli occupation forces air strike that targeted a center for the disabled in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The three girls have not yet been identified, as information is still coming in about the details of that attack. Several images have been posted on social media of disabled youth in the hospital who were wounded in the blast.

Three men were killed in a bomb that targeted At-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. They were identified as

1. Ibrahim Nabil Hamada.
2. Hasan Ahmad Abu Ghush.
3. Ahmad Mazen al-Bal’awy.

According to a spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qidra, it took several hours to identify the three men because their bodies had been torn apart by the missile. They were taken to Shifa hospital for treatment.

A correspondent with the Wafa News Agency reported that Israeli fighter jets did not let up on the attack throughout the night and continuing into the day. The correspondent noted that the planes targeted houses, mosques, public property, infrastructure, and even parks and sports clubs, as well as agricultural land, power lines and drinking water infrastructure. He said that the ongoing explosions are causing panic and terror among the population, particularly the children, who make up around half the population of the crowded coastal Strip.

The attacks Saturday morning included both bombing from the air and artillery fire from tanks and weapons stationed on the northern and eastern borders of Gaza.

Three men were killed in an airstrike that hit the yard next to a mosque in Gaza City. They were identified as:

4. Ali Nabil Basal, 32.
5. Hamada al-Halaby, 28.
6. Mohammad Abu Askar, 20.

Another mosque in Nussairat refugee camp was damaged when a house nearby was repeatedly targeted by airstrikes, but no casualties were reported in that attack.

Also in Nussairat, Israeli airstrikes targeted the home of Essam Da'alis, former adviser to Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, and another home belonging to the Khalidi family. Another airstrike in Nussairat took out the Farouq mosque.

A charity organization was bombed in Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Repeated airstrikes hit the Abasan area of Khan Younis in the early hours of Saturday morning, in the southern Gaza Strip. At one point in the pre-dawn hours, around 20 bombs were dropped on Rafah and Dair El-Balah in the space of about ten minutes.

A separate airstrike in Gaza City Saturday morning resulted in the death of:
7. Mohammad Sweity, 20.

In the northern Gaza Strip, the home of the Abu Habal family was bombed. The airstrike and artillery shelling wounded 22.

Earlier Saturday morning, before 2 am, five Palestinians were killed in the yard of a local mosque, in Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, while many residents were injured, two seriously. The slain Palestinians have been identified as:

Israeli occupation forces have been amassing on the border, along with heavy artillery, and Israeli authorities have indicated a potential ground invasion.

There are unconfirmed reports of an attack by Palestinian fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, on an Israeli jeep in Nahal Oz military base, near Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Six More Palestinians Killed By Israeli Missiles late Friday night

Palestinian medical sources have reported that six more Palestinians were killed in a number of Israeli occupation forces airstrikes late Friday night and early Saturday morning, and that at least three of the slain Palestinians are children. This latest attack comes as the ongoing Israeli aggression and war on the Gaza Strip enters its fourth day .

The sources said the army fired missiles into dozens of homes, in addition to firing missiles targeting cars and infrastructure in different parts of the coastal region.

On Friday, at night, two Palestinians were killed when Israeli missiles struck Palestinian farmland in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

They have been identified as:

1. Mohammad Samiri, 24.
2. Rami Abu Mosa’ed, 24.

On Friday evening, soldiers fired missiles into a home, and several areas in the Shuja’eyya neighborhood in Gaza City, killing two Palestinians, including an elderly man, and wounding at least six others.

Medical sources at the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza said four Palestinians, including two children, have been wounded in the Israeli bombardment. Two of the wounded suffered serious injuries.

The slain Palestinians have been identified as:

3. Saber Sokkar, 80.
4. Hussein Mohammad al-Mamlouk, 47.

Another Palestinian died of serious wounds, suffered in an earlier shelling targeted the Shuja’eyya neighborhood, he has been identified as:

5. Nasser Rabah Sammama, 46.

Furthermore, medics and rescue teams located the body of a Palestinian man buried under the rubble of a home that was bombarded by the army last night in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza. He has been identified as:

6. Abdul-Halim Abdul-Mo’ty Ashra, 52.

Medical sources said that Dr. Anas Rezeq abu al-Kas, 30, Gaza City, died on Friday of wounds suffered on Thursday evening, in Tal al-Hawa, Gaza city, after three Israeli missiles struck his home. Anas had lost his parents who were killed when Israeli missiles struck their home during the previous Israeli war on Gaza, which started on December 27, 2008.

Dozens of wounded Palestinians are in serious condition, in different parts of the Gaza Strip, as hundreds of residents, the vast majority of them civilians, have been injured in the ongoing war on Gaza.

Among the seriously wounded Palestinians are twelve of the fifteen residents injured earlier Friday in the Nahda neighborhood and Yebna refugee camp, close to the border with Egypt; five were instantly killed in the two attacks.

Medical sources also said one resident was moved to the Shifa Medical Center suffering a very serious injury suffered, after the army shells homes northwest of Gaza City.

200 homes have been completely destroyed during the raids, according to WAFA.

Israeli air raid on orphanage kills three girls with special needs in Beit Lahia

Three little girls with special needs were killed during an Israeli airstrike at dawn Saturday on an orphanage for the disabled in Beit Lahiya district in the Gaza Strip.

Many nurses working for the orphanage also suffered serious injuries during the attack.

According to Quds Press, the air raid leveled the building of the orphanage to the ground.

In a separate incident, another aerial attack on a group of civilians in Gaza City killed three of them immediately and rendered others severely wounded, eyewitnesses reported.

The Israeli occupation army also waged dozens of air raids on several homes belonging to civilians in northern Gaza, Khan Younis, and Gaza City. No casualties have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, 22 Palestinian civilians were reportedly injured in indiscriminate artillery attacks on populated border areas in Gaza.

The Israeli artillery also bombed a house belonging to Isam Da'alis, who served as an advisor to former premier Ismail Haniya, in Al-Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, as well as three other houses and one mosque.

A charitable society in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza and a military court house in Gaza City were bombed as well.

Four Palestinians killed in Israeli air strike north of Gaza

Four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air raid on northern Gaza Strip at a late night hour on Friday while a fifth, a minor, succumbed to critical wounds suffered in an earlier raid.

A field observer told Quds Press that an Israeli drone fired a number of missiles at a group of citizens in a roundabout in central Jabaliya refugee camp, north of the Strip, killing four and wounding four others one of them in a serious condition.

Medical sources identified the four victims, one of them, Hussam al-Razayne, is the fourth son in his family to be killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces.

Hussam Qandil, 17, was declared dead late Friday after being fatally wounded in an earlier Israeli raid in which he was declared clinically dead. He was the son of a martyr.
