Israeli Occupation Soldiers Violate Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Attack Worshippers

Occupation surrounds 15 young people in al-Aqsa mosque

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM,(PIC)--

Tensions still prevailed in al-Aqsa mosque, where the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Sunday morning Alaa Haddad, a member of the Jerusalem Prisoners' Families Committee as he entered the mosque yards, while releasing two young men who were arrested in the morning.

Local sources indicated to our correspondent, that Israeli undercover soldiers violently assaulted the citizen Jabarin Abdah from Umm al-Fahm, near the Asbat Gate and they arrested him, in addition they drove 10 young people outside the gates of the old town.

The sources confirmed that Israeli forces surrounded 15 youths inside the mosque to arrest them. In addition the trader Said Sahli had been deported from the old town for four days and fined a thousand shekels. Salihi was arrested yesterday evening in front of his shop where he was beaten and sprayed with pepper with his brother and son after confronting settlers' attack on their shops.

Abu Halabiya calls on Arab and Muslims to defend al-Aqsa Mosque

GAZA, (PIC)--

Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya, head of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Committee in the Legislative Council, demanded the Palestinian factions to unify their ranks, end the division, and support Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa and the holy sites in Palestine.

Abu Halabiya called on Arab and Islamic masses, at a press conference on Sunday, to launch marches and mass demonstrations next Friday after the prayer in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and to defend it and the holy sites in Jerusalem and Palestine.

He also demanded the Arab and Muslim masses to provide all forms of necessary support to Jerusalemites for their steadfastness at the financial, media, legal and educational levels.

Dr Abu Halabiya hailed the Jerusalemites and 1948- Palestinians, for their steadfastness in confronting the Israeli plans aimed at Judaizing Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He urged all parliaments, assemblies and Arab, Islamic and international parliament unions to take decisions and enact laws protecting the holy sites in Palestine, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, all Arab and Islamic countries, United Nations and the concerned institutions to immediately intervene and stop the daily Israeli war crimes against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The head of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Committee demanded the Arab and Muslim leaders and rulers to activate their role to protect Al-Aqsa mosque and hold urgent and necessary conferences to achieve this historic goal.

He asserted on Hamas' call on Palestinian factions, the Arab and Islamic nation and all the world's free people to provide a safety net for Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On the Arab and Islamic political level, he demanded prosecuting the Israeli war criminals who have not stopped committing crimes against man and land.
