Six Palestinians arrested in WB, Tel Aviv

RAMALLAH, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped two Palestinian young men in Tel Aviv on Monday night after claiming they infiltrated into an army base.

The Hebrew radio said that the air force base is located to the north of Tel Aviv and did not give further details.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested four citizens in the West Bank at dawn Tuesday.

Local sources said that three Palestinians were rounded up in Kafr Kaddoum village near Qalqilia city including a teenager.

They said that the IOF soldiers broke into and ransacked many houses in the village before taking away the three young men.

IOF soldiers used dogs in searching the home of Nabil Abu Shaduf in Brukin village, south west of Jenin, before taking him away, locals said, noting that the search damaged the house’s furniture and personal belongings.

IOF soldiers round up five Palestinians

NABLUS, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens over the past 24 hours in various West Bank areas, local sources said on Monday.

Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers arrested four young men at a roadblock installed to the south of Tulkarem on Monday night.

They said that IOF patrols searched vehicles passing along Kufriyat road and scrutinized IDs before taking away the four youths who were travelling together in one car.

In Nablus, IOF soldiers stormed the city at dawn Monday and arrested a 30-year-old man after searching his home.

Meanwhile, other IOF units closed on Monday morning the road connecting ten villages to the north west of occupied Jerusalem to Ramallah at security pretexts.

Witnesses said that the soldiers placed cement cubes on the road and deprived those villages, with a population of around 70,000, from directly connecting with Ramallah. They said that citizens were forced to use alternative roads that take a much longer time.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers spray toxic substance, kill herd of sheep

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)--

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers sprayed toxic substance in Palestinian grazing fields near the town of Yatta, southern al-Khalil, causing the death of a herd of sheep.

The coordinator of the popular committees against the wall and settlement in Yatta, Ratib Al-Jabour, asserted that the herd of sheep, which belonged to Jihad Noajah, had died after grazing in wild herbs, which were sprayed with toxic substances by settlers from Susiya settlement to the southeast of Yatta.

Meanwhile, the head of Wadi al-Maleh village council, Aref Daraghmeh, stated that the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) have ordered Palestinian Bedouins in Wadi al-Maleh in the Jordan Valley to pay excessive fines of up to 15 thousand shekels to retrieve their cattle confiscated a few days ago.

He added that the residents lost numbers of their cows which died during the confiscation raid while others were still held by the IOA even after paying the fines.

Two Palestinians injured after settler's car rammed into their vehicle [ 13/08/2012 - 11:37 AM ]

NABLUS, (PIC)-- Two Palestinians were wounded on Sunday morning when an Israeli settler, in a speeding car, deliberately rammed into their vehicle east of Nablus.

Ghassan Douglas, monitoring settlement activity north of the West Bank, said that an Israeli settler from Yitzhar settlement in a Toyota car rammed into a Palestinian vehicle in the town of Beit Furik east of Nablus.

Two Palestinians, Majdi Hanini and Zaid Adel Hanini, were transferred to Rafidia hospital in Nablus for treatment with moderate injuries.
