2 Palestinians Killed, 2 Injured in Gaza, Protesters Attacked, Injured in Hebron, Bil'in by Israeli Occupation Forces Resident Wounded By Army Fire In Gaza Saturday November 05, 2011 12:18 by Saed Bannoura - IMEMC & Agencies Palestinian Medical sources reported on Saturday morning that Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at dozens of residents near “Nahal Oz” area, east of Gaza city; one resident was injured. Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire randomly at residents and farmers in the area, while the residents were working, and farming their lands, The Palestine News and Info Agency, WAFA, reported. The wounded resident was identified as Mohammad Ibrahim Hamad, 23; he was shot in his right thigh, and was moved to a local hospital. The eyewitnesses said that the army was not provoked in any way, and that the farmers fled their lands fearing further attacks by the army. injuring of a Palestinian young man, the Maan News Agency reported on
Saturday morning. [ 03/11/2011 - 08:10 PM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- Two Palestinian men were killed Thursday afternoon as a result of an airstrike carried out by Israeli occupation air force targeting the Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. Adham Abu Selmiyyah, spokesman for the emergency services told PIC that Muhammad Abu Helmeyyah, 22 years, and Nasser Elayyan, 23 years, both farmers were killed in the Israeli occupation airstrike on Beit Lahiya and that their bodies which were taken to Kamal Adwan hospital were badly mutilated. Local sources told PIC correspondent that a group of resistance fighters confronted a group of IOF soldiers who infiltrated into the area achieving a direct hit. The same sources added that military reinforcements rushed to the area and helicopters hovered above firing two rockets which resulted in the death of the two men. Hebrew media sources said that a military jeep sustained a direct hit after Palestinian resistance fighters targeted an IOF patrol. Meanwhile, the Qassam Brigades announced that one of it fighters was killed as a result of the air attack on Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. In a statement on Thursday, the Qassam Brigades, said that Nasr Ibrahim Elayyan, 23 years, from Beit Lahia was killed Thursday afternoon in an Israeli airstrike while working in his field.
