Illegal IOF soldiers detain Palestinian, settlers attack others

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)--

Illegal Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a Palestinian man in Yatta village, south of Al-Khalil, on Sunday while illegal Israeli settlers beat up two others in the city of Al-Khalil (Hebron).

Eyewitnesses said that a group of IOF soldiers stormed the family home of Nazih Nawaja’a and took him away after searching the house.

Meanwhile, settlers assaulted two Palestinians in Al-Khalil and bruised them while another group of settlers broke into the home of a Palestinian in the Old City of Al-Khalil and destroyed his furniture and personal belongings.

In the same neighborhood, the settlers attacked the home of Hani Jaber who was recently released in the prisoners’ exchange deal between Hamas and Israel. The IOF soldiers arrested Jaber’s brothers instead of the settlers.

Settlers had raised a 100000 dollars “bounty” for the head of Jaber.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack the villages of Aqraba and Awdla to the south of Nablus

NABLUS, (PIC)--

More than fifty illegal Israeli settlers at midnight Thursday stormed the villages of Aqraba and Awdla, to the south east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus and wreaked havoc in both villages.

Local sources said that settlers travelling in cars rolled into both villages without warning, they were armed with machineguns spreading fear amongst the local population.

The IOF claimed that the settlers stormed both villages looking for lost cattle that belong to them.

Hamas: Israel kidnapped 64 Palestinians over the past week

RAMALLAH, (PIC)--

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped 64 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank over the past week including 14 children, a press release by Hamas issued on Saturday said.

It pointed out that the biggest number (17) was arrested in Al-Khalil followed by (12) in Bethlehem, (10) in Qalqilia, (6) in each of Nablus and Ramallah, (4) in in each of Jenin and Salfit, (3) in occupied Jerusalem and one in each of Jericho and Tulkarem.

The report said that three of those arrested were journalists while five were recently released from PA security prisons.

Illegal Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinian Family in their Farm Land

On Friday, a group of illegal Israeli settlers attacked a family in al-Khader Village, near Bethlehem, while they were working in their orchard. The land is located near the illegal settlement “Eliezer”, the Palestine news & info agency reported (WAFA) reported.

Hassan Salah, one of the assaulted family members, said that they were surprised when they saw the settlers cultivating olive trees that belong to the family.

The settlers used their dogs and sticks to assault the Palestinian farmers when they tried to stop them. Salah's mother, 70, was injured by the settlers.

Hassan stated that both parties (the settlers and the residents) headed to the Israeli Police Station in the nearby illegal settlement of “Etzion”, and the police claimed that the case was transferred to the court.

He added that Palestinian farmlands and orchards are subject to ongoing Israeli attacks, and ongoing attempts to take over the land for the benefit of new settlement construction, and expansion.
