of the Gaza Strip. Egyptian authorities still refuse to allow travel of dozens of Gazans [ 09/03/2011 - 01:28 PM ] RAFAH, (PIC)-- The Egyptian authorities are still persistent in preventing dozens of students and patients from traveling through the Rafah border crossing for medical and educational purposes. The authority of crossings and borders in Gaza said that the Egyptian authorities barred 45 Gazan passengers on Tuesday from crossing into Egypt and allowed only 259 others into Gaza. Palestinian passengers had said that the Egyptian state security uses old lists of passengers who used to be banned by the ousted regime from entering Egypt and also prevent others whose names are not included in these lists.
