Gaza Today Is Harder to Break, Fears No Israeli Threats, Says Masri

[ 02/01/2011 - 12:48 PM ]

GAZA, (PIC)--

Senior Hamas official and lawmaker Mushir Al-Masri said that Israel's threats and psychological warfare against Gaza people do not intimidate them, stressing that Gaza today is much stronger and harder to break.

"The threats made by the occupation will not scare or frighten us and we will keep walking the same path trod by our martyrs whose bodies and blood spread all over the land," MP Masri added in a ceremony held on Saturday in Gaza city to honor some families of war victims.

"Gaza people will remain steadfast and ready to support their resistance, which will teach the enemy a hard lesson without recognizing Israel or giving up the constants and its resistance weapon until the liberation of Palestine," the lawmaker highlighted.

He also slammed some Palestinian parties in Ramallah city who wish to return to Gaza through another Israeli war. "Whoever dreams to return to Gaza on a Zionist tank to rule it with a rod of iron and at the same time promise it freedom according to the Zio-American vision is delusional."

In this regard, Palestinian minister of interior Fat'hi Hammad said in a press release on Saturday that his ministry developed many emergency plans in harmony with its current abilities in order to confront any possible Israeli war on Gaza.

Hammad added that these plans are intended to protect the lives of security cadres and resistance fighters, to provide field services for all citizens and preserve the internal front.

"The occupation has to save itself the trouble of getting rid of Hamas and its government led by Ismail Haniya, and just to know that this Movement is deeply rooted in the feelings, conscience and history of the Palestinian people," he underscored.
