Israeli Siege Claims the Life Of Gaza Infant

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported, Tuesday, that a 30-day old infant died due to sharp shortages in medical supplies and medical equipment in Gaza Strip hospitals, induced by the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation government.

The infant was identified as Mo’taz Hani Abu Nada, 30 days old. He was born with a heart defect and needed urgent surgery.

The infant’s death raises the number of patients, including dozens of infants and children, who have died due to the Israeli siege to 377.

The Ministry of Health In Gaza demanded the International Community to intervene and to pressure Israel into ending its illegal Israeli siege on Gaza and to allow the patients to receive necessary medical treatment abroad.

Illegal Israeli settlers looted olive trees in Nablus

On wendesday afternoon, illegal Israeli settlers cut down dozens of olive trees and looted the harvested fruits from villages of Yanoun and al-Hawara near the city of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas,a Palestinian official in charge of the Israeli setter and settlement issues in Northern West Bank,said that settlers attacked olive trees belonging to 'Odeh's family in the town of al-Hawara, smashed and stole it's fruits before leaving the village.

Daghlas added,that the attack included village of Yanoun,south-east of Nablus, where illegal Israeli settlers looted 25 olive trees.

Daghlas confirmed that at the beginning of every harvest season, settlers steal olive trees, uproot them and steal the fruit, and prevent farmers from reaching their fields. In another incident in this area a settler from the illegal 'Yetsahr' settlement stabbed a horse belonging to a citizen from the village of 'Ein Yabus while he was on his way to harvest his own olive trees.

Israeli Occupation Army Intensified Its Military Operations In Hebron

On Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army intensified its military operations in Hebron, in the southern West Bank

Security sources and witnesses reported to the Palestine News Agency 'Wafa' that the Israeli army intensified its military operations by imposing a siege and closure procedure around Hebron.

The Israeli military spread out into several neighbourhoods in Hebron and set up checkpoints at the entrance of the village of Beit Kahel, northwest of Hebron; al-Fawar junction, south of Hebron; and near the traffic department in the town of Doura.

Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces closed the road in both directions between the town of Doura and the villages in the west and south Hebron,

Israeli soldiers conducted inspections of citizen's vehicles and checked the identities of its passengers.

Israeli occupation army invaded several neighbourhoods in Jerusalem

Israeli occupation army invaded many Palestinian houses in Batin al-Hawa neighbourhood, of Silwan, just outside the walls of the Old City and near to the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Maher Ghazawe,a citizen from Batin al-hawa neighbourhood reported that soldiers invaded house by house, intimitaded women and childern and smashed windows and gates. Furthermore, the army arrested boys and young men. One of them, 'Ala' Odeh, 20, was arrested after soldiers assaulted his mother.

Several other neighborhoods in East Jerusalem were also invaded, including al-Bostan, Wadi Hilwa and 'Ein al-Loza region, and arrests were made according to a witness.

Wounded Man Kidnapped By Israeli occupation forces

A Palestinian man was shot and wounded, on Tuesday at dawn, after Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at him at a military roadblock near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

Israeli army sources reported that the man, from Habla village, near Qalqilia, was in an Israeli car along with two other residents.

The army claims that the vehicle was stolen and that its driver attempted to break through the roadblock while being chased by an Israeli police vehicle from Kfar Saba.

The Israeli occupation soldiers at the roadblock stated that the driver, and two others who accompanied him, stepped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene.

The occupation soldiers then shot and wounded one of them, detained the other, while the third managed to escape the scene apparently unharmed.
