Soldiers Kidnap 21 Palestinians In Hebron

Wednesday June 23, 2010 01:02 by Saed Bannoura - IMEMC & Agencies

Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped nearly two dozen Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron on Tuesday, after invading several areas and breaking into dozens of homes, local sources reported.

The Israeli occupation army claimed that the soldiers were searching for a Palestinian who carried out an attack against Israeli settlers last week.

Israeli occupation army radio reported that the 21 residents were kidnapped in the town of Doura, west of Hebron.

In related news, Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the town of Zabbouba, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin; the soldiers broke into and searched more than ten homes.

The soldiers closed the entrances of the town, and broke into homes adjacent to the Annexation Wall.

The occupation army also handed military orders to ten residents to head to a nearby military base for interrogation.

Local sources said that the soldiers used tear gas and concussion grenades during the invasion; no injuries were reported.
