3 Palestinian children wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, an illegal Israeli settler runs over and kills a 21-year-old Palestinian young woman north of Ramallah 3 Palestinian children wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza [ 02/04/2010 - 02:10 PM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation air force carried out a number of airstrikes on different areas of the Gaza Strip after midnight Thursday night. Israeli occupation aircraft fired rockets at open areas near evacuated settlements and opposite Asda' Media City in Khan Younis. Local sources and PIC correspondents said that Israeli occupation forces, US-made F-16 aircraft started their strikes at 12:34 am by firing three rockets at open areas in the evacuated settlements area and outside the media city in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Local sources said that Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a number of airstrikes against targets in Gaza City, one of them targeted a dairy factory in the Sabra neighbourhood, completely destroying the factory and causing damage to neighbouring houses. In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation apache helicopters targeted a mobile cabin used by the Palestinian police setting it on fire. Sources also said that two explosions were heard in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah and ambulances rushed to the targeted areas. Dr. Muaweyah Hasanin, director of emergency services at the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that three children were moderately wounded by shrapnel and debris resulting from the attack on the dairy factory in the Sabra neighbourhood. The wounded children are Malak al-Arabin (18 months), Saad al-Arabin (4years) and Abdullah Sarsour (11 years). A settler runs over and kills a woman to the north of Ramallah [ 02/04/2010 - 09:24 PM ] RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Sources in the village of Al-Lebban to the north of the southern West Bank city of Ramallah the 21-year-old Samar Radwan died as a result of being run over by a settler. She was taken to an Israeli hospital were she died shortly after arrival. The sources said that the accident took place Friday morning on the main road which passes by the village and which is used by settlers. The Israeli occupation built the road to be used by settlers in nearby settlements and top of the road eating up much of the village's lands villagers suffer because settlers usually drive their vehicles at high speed without any regards for Palestinian life.
